Me getting hit by a car on a moped
Keep that in mind, I got hit by a car doing 45 mph with me on a moped
and made it! So I may not take things people think as serious, seriously!
It's not serious to me! Life is too short really to be serious!
Back in 1985 I got hit by a car on my moped. I was stopped in the street making a left turn when a car doing around 45 mph going down the road didn't see me because he had something on his dashboard blocking his view. He hit me the bike went forward and I glided with the car grabbing hold of the hood hanging on until he stopped hard and I couldn't hang on no more. I didn't want to loose my fingers so I let go and I hit the road and skidded with the car holding on to the air dam to not go under the car. All that happened to me in the end was I bruised my kidney so I turned yellow and it pulled all the ligaments in one leg because my leg got pulled up too fast as I went over the hood of the car. It took me months to walk again!
Yes I got hit by a car with me on a moped and survived.
Not as bad but like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Had20POo6ZA
I also almost got hit by a love in a car I begged her to come back as it was like
being hit by cupid. I also had a cursed car before!

~~~~~Mopeds and Scooters: Crash Outcomes in a High Traffic State
Abstract
Background
Moped and scooter crash outcomes in the United States were last reported over 20 years ago. These vehicles have experienced resurgence in popularity with sales that have increased up to 60% in recent years. The purpose of this study is to identify risk factors between severe and non-severe driver related injuries and to identify modifiable risk factors.
Methods
The Florida Traffic Crash Records Database (FTCRD) was used to identify all crashes involving mopeds and scooters occurring between 2002 and 2008. A total of 5,660 moped crashes were evaluated. Multivariate logistic regression was used to determine the strength of association of severe injury for each risk factor.
Results
Over 90% of drivers involved in moped or scooter crashes were uninsured. Only 17% of all drivers wore helmets. Alcohol and drug use was a significant risk factor severe and lethal crashes OR 2.09, 95% CI (1.64, 2.66). Risk factors amenable for state intervention and associated with increased severe or lethal injury were unpaved roads OR 1.57, 95% CI (1.30, 1.88); driving speeds > 20 mph OR 2.02, 95% CI (1.73, 2.36); posted speed limits >30 mph OR 1.40, 95% CI (1.22, 1.62); major roadways with 4 or more lanes OR 1.83, 95% CI (1.04, 3.21); and poor lighting conditions OR 1.69, 95% CI (1.23, 2.32).
Conclusions
These results suggest that most of the traffic infrastructure does not accommodate the safety of moped and scooter drivers. Focused interventions and further investigation into statewide traffic rules may improve moped crash outcomes.
Open Relationship like Therapy
Being open and having that talk is like opening a door you are trapped in.
A open marriage is open. So to have that talk is just to be open on
who is who to who and why!
"Open relationship is the umbrella category,” explains Dr. Sheff. “There are different types of open relationships like swinging, monogamish, polyamory, relationship anarchy, and then just open — people sometimes choose to identify that way.”
But the point is about healing, supporting, making better.
A lover making the other a better person a stable foundation.
To do better than not! Like a Cicisbeo in the 21st century to protect
her from society or society from her. It's ok! Anyway you see it, it's for the better!
It's just common sense wanting better for you or your partner a time for growth
before you hit 70! A point of spirituality and Respect for all and for what is
best for the babies!
A open marriage is therapy to make each other a better person!
~~~~~Your Complete Guide to an Open Relationship
1. Get familiar with what’s on the menu.
“Open relationship is the umbrella category,” explains Dr. Sheff. “There are different types of open relationships like swinging, monogamish, polyamory, relationship anarchy, and then just open — people sometimes choose to identify that way.”
“There’s so many different configurations,” adds Watson. “There can be a V where one person has two partners and those two partners aren’t related, there can be a triangle where one person has two partners and those two partners mess around too, and then there can be all sorts of tree of life looking branches from different people.”
In order to learn more, Dr. Sheff recommends finding people in different types of relationships and asking them about it. Here’s how: On internet communities such as meetup.com, use search terms such as “polyamory,” “sex positive,” and “open relationship” to find couples, get in touch, and ask any questions you might have.
2. Decide what you want.
After you talk to people in different types of open relationships, “see which one appeals to you,” Dr. Sheff advises. “If you have a partner already, discuss it in depth with your partner.”
Watson agrees: “Know what you are and are not comfortable with. In terms of opening up your relationship, do you just want to have sexual relationships? Do you want to have a boyfriend? Do you want to have another long-term relationship? Are you comfortable with your partner coming over to your house? Are you comfortable with other partners having sex in your bed? Are you comfortable with your partner having sex with other partners? Are you comfortable with your partner’s other partners having sex in your bed? Get really familiar with what feels good to you and what you’re not comfortable with.”
3. Make sure you’re in it for the right reasons.
“If you’re opening up your relationship to fix the issues in your current relationship, that’s not going to work,” warns Watson. “You need to work on the issues in your current relationship and not expect your new relationship to just change that.”
4. Establish guidelines with your partner.
Once you know your boundaries and feel confident in your motivation behind wanting to open up your relationship, Courtney advises you and your partner “sit down and write down what you want and what you are planning to do.”
“I have couples write three lists of something they absolutely must have in a relationship; something they would like, but are willing to flex on; and something they absolutely will not allow in a relationship,” explains Dr. Sheff. “So it’s three columns of your boundaries and where they fall. Each person does that independently, and then come back and compare lists just to give yourself a baseline of, What do I want?” Within the list, she suggests you address questions like, What kind of safe sex will we practice? What happens if someone gets pregnant? What about living with other people?
Once you’ve filled out your three columns, exchange them with your partner and see how much your values align. “If your partner has — in the Absolutely Not column — ‘Never ever have sex with other people,’ and you have in the Must Have column, ‘Must have sex with other people,’ that’s going to be a serious problem.” It’s vital that the two of you are on the same page about what you’re getting into.
5. While making your guidelines, leave other people out of it.
“If people think about them a lot and make all sorts of plans about how it’s going to be and how other people will or will not react, that’s a recipe for disaster because you can’t make rules for people and how they’re going to feel,” explains Dr. Sheff. “But couples try that all the time — couples who are already together and opening their relationship often will think a lot about it beforehand and will decide ‘This is what’s going to be okay for secondaries and what’s not.’”
“You can’t expect someone to follow an agreement that they never agreed to and never had a hand in negotiating,” she continues. “It’s not fair. Most importantly, you don’t have their buy in. There’s no reason why they should follow it. That’s a common mistake from couples.”
6. Remember the guidelines aren’t a rule book.
“Realize that people’s boundaries change,” advises Dr. Sheff. “They think it’s gonna be one thing. And then they get started and it’s something else. You are not carving these in stone. This is the beginning of the discussion. Don’t use this list as a way to badger your partner.”
“It can be a document that evolves as you get more into opening your relationship and understanding what fits and what doesn’t fit,” adds Watson. “It should be a document that you regularly revise, but it’s helpful to write it down so that people don’t get confused.”
7. Hone your communication skills.
“Open relationships will tank if there’s no communication line,” warns Watson. “You’re dealing with so many different parts, pieces, and people, you need to be able to talk really openly about what your boundaries are and your wishes and desires.”
“Expect to put effort into communication,” adds Dr. Sheff. “Develop it as a skill. Take it seriously enough that you’ll learn how to communicate well. That’s key for these relationships because, without communication, you can’t talk about how you’re feeling and if you can’t talk about how you’re feeling often those feelings become a booby trap. If you just act out of jealousy instead of communicating, that just creates a lot of drama and pain for everyone.”
8. Make a calendar to stay organized.
“Just have a calendar that you can reference,” suggests Watson. “You can share your calendar digitally with your different partners or one or two partners — however you want to do it. The more organized you can be about it, the better because the less opportunity there is for hurt feelings and misunderstanding.”
9. Don’t expect it to be easy.
“Expect it to be a bit of a challenge,” advises Dr. Sheff. “I think, at heart, most people would like to have their own harem of completely devoted people they don’t have to share with anyone, but they get sexual variety. And most of us know it’s not okay. It’s reasonable to ask for that, but it’s also reasonable to give that same openness to your partner. That is the harder part.”
While pursuing your own relationships is great, Dr. Sheff warns, “It can be really challenging to allow your partner that same leeway. So be prepared for that, be ready to talk about it, be ready to own up to it. And that it doesn’t mean, ‘Oh, that was a failure, now we have to stop, this was a disaster. Oh no!’ You can say, ‘Oh, there it is. We kind of expected this. Here it goes — how are we gonna handle this?’”
10. Seek out help if you need it.
“Know sex therapy is always an option for you and all of your partners when you hit rough patches,” Watson says. “I’m a sex therapist and I will see as many partners as want to come in. We can work together to figure out what’s going on.”
There are also people like Dr. Sheff who provide relationship coaching for people trying open relationships and advise them on how to do it. For people who feel differently about non-monogamy than their partner, they help come up with solutions. Dr. Sheff says there is great advice and supportive information online, especially in polyamorous communities.

Low-wage work really is a dead end
There is a good point to know about Dead End Jobs and how
in small towns not being able to do better.
It's a mix of the good old boys system, corruption, fighting wage growth
in that the wages are much the same where ever you go.
A manager job at the Denny's restaurant was the same pay as a Walmart worker.
A QuikTrip Store clerk was the same pay as a new Teachers job.
Years ago Georgia Pacific would hire people but found anyway to fire them
before 6 months so they didn't have to pay benefits. So the workers caught
on to it and planed to work there for a short time. And so many other places
where like that also and the workers acted like it's a temp job.
My past girlfriend working at Walmart tried to move up to a department manager
position but as expected she didn't get the job. No one there really got
anything. Your not able to do better! All of this is small town corruption and
so is common. Many in small towns spent their life at their dead end job only to
retire at it. Minimum wage retirement is common in small towns.
People walking with no cars. And I am saying walking like 10 miles all
over town. Or riding a bike, etc the same. Living with no AC or heat to save money.
Hyper mile their car to save on gas. As many are broke the first week of the month
looking confused about others talking about shopping online?
"I only have $20 in the bank how??????" Too broke to shop on-line!
Just a big mess of crap overall added to issues in the changing job skills that
will be needed with no foundation for it. How are you to do better when you
are holding your breath running a marathon? Change is needed!
And so for the workers to know otherwise they don't know then wonder what
is slapping their ass? Not to be unaware thinking it happens for
no reason just out of the blue. Life runs over you so it's best to be aware!
There is a need to be brought up sometime keep a eye ahead to be ahead!

There might that time to migrate to a better environment.

~~~~~For millions, low-wage work really is a dead end
The U.S. economy is booming, unemployment is at a 17-year low and wages appear to be picking up. So what's not to like?
If you're one of the approximately 65 million Americans in low-paid service jobs, getting a share of that economic prosperity may be unbearably difficult. Jobs may be plentiful, but finding one that pays better than your current gig is much more rare than commonly believed, according to new research paper from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
"If you start in one of those low-wage occupations, you have a higher probability of becoming unemployed than moving up the career ladder," said Todd Gabe, a co-author of the paper, titled "Can Low-Wage Workers Get Better Jobs?"
The answer seems to be, "With extreme difficulty."
The authors looked at 175,000 workers in so-called low-quality jobs -- with low pay, unpredictable scheduling and few or no benefits -- and examined how those people's jobs changed over a six-year period ending in 2017. Of this group, only 5.2 percent were in a higher-paying job one year later, the authors found. By contrast, more than 10 percent left the workforce and 6.7 percent became unemployed.
In other words, a low-wage worker was three times more likely to stop working altogether than to move to a better job in a given year.
Among those who did move from low-wage to higher-wage work, some common threads appeared. Typical jobs they upgraded to included work as nursing aides, customer service representatives, administrative assistants or wholesale and manufacturing sales. None of the "better" jobs typical for workers leaving low-wage work were in production, the paper notes.
The single most common "better" job that low-wage workers moved into was truck driving. About one in 300 made this move. That's in line with other research that has found some kind of truck driving a common "opportunity job," paying around the national average and accessible to people without college degrees. Other opportunity jobs included clerks, automotive technicians and repair workers.
Those who had a four-year college degree and were younger were also more likely to move into higher-paid work than their peers. "Don't underestimate the value of getting an education," Gabe said.
These findings directly contradict the rosy discussion of today's job market. Those who favor minimal regulation and oppose raising wages for service jobs often say such jobs are short-term and entry-level, providing workers with a first step on the ladder up job mobility.
The New York Fed study's authors say, "If low-wage jobs are simply a stepping stone to higher-quality jobs, then the problem of low-wage work can be solved via the labor market." But, they added, "If, on the other hand, people tend to get trapped in low-wage jobs that are difficult to escape, then some more proactive policies may be warranted."
However, proactive policies don't seem to be coming. Instead, public policy is pushing more people into the workforce while rescinding many protections working people have previously enjoyed.
Still, the role of low-paid work in the U.S. is important. Nine years after the Great Recession began, the largest and fastest-growing sector of the economy is in low-paid, "service class" jobs.
Labor advocates and some academics have argued that rolling back economic polarization requires upgrading the jobs at the very bottom. As Richard Florida, a co-author of the New York Fed paper, said in another paper he co-wrote: "The only way to create a large number of family-supporting jobs that will rebuild the middle class is by upgrading the millions of precarious, low-skill, and low-wage service class jobs we already have."
Regional to shore areas of South Jersey, some residents (late teens to early thirties) often use "hamburger meat" as a euphemism for chest hair. Hamburger meat is an especially prominent feature of French Canadian tourists, as are speedos. Hamburger meat is also used to point out when a man has obviously taken great lengths to display his man mane, i.e. - unbuttoning polo style shirt completely, and flattening the collar to maximize fluff effect.
~~~~~Ladybug Symbolism
~~~~~Ladybug Symbolism
Ladybug SymbolismLadybug symbolism is all about good luck around the globe. There seems to be some confusion to the name. Is it ladybug or ladybird?
In Europe the term ladybird is most common. In the United States more people use the word ladybug instead of the ladybird.
Lucky Ladybug: Superstition
If a ladybug lands on you, be careful not to brush it off. Stay very still and count the spots. The number of spots will reveal the number of months you will enjoy good luck.
The stronger the color red is on the ladybug, the better your luck will be.
Others believe you get to make a wish if a ladybug lands on your hand. The number of spots will be equivalent to the number of months (some say years) before your wish comes true.
Ladybugs as a symbol of protection
During the Middle Ages it was common belief that the ladybug symbolized protection.
Stories were told about farmers who were desperate because aphids were ruining their crops. The farmers prayed to the Virgin Mary for help.
The Virgin Mary responded to their distressed situation and sent thousands of ladybugs to annihilate the aphids, thus saving their crop.
The ladybird has been and still is used as a talisman for safety and protection against all harm.
As a symbol of keeping the person wearing images of ladybugs safe and healthy we can see why ladybugs on baby and child clothing is consistently popular.
Knowing the ladybug symbolism also includes love, joy and prosperity, any person would happily give gifts with ladybug images on them.
Ladybug Symbolism: Love
Common folk belief tells that if a ladybug/ladybird crawls over an unwed woman’s hand, she will be married within a year.
lucky ladybugThis lady-fly I take from the grass
Whose spotted back might scarlet red surpass?
Fly, lady-bird; north, south, or east or west
Fly where the man is found that I love best.
John Gay, The Shepherd’s Week – 1714
Ladybug Symbolism and the Newborn Baby
As mentioned earlier ladybugs bring security and good fortune, but there is still another reason why babies should have something containing ladybug symbolism.
Ladybugs are considered very lucky for babies
It is said ladybugs showers the baby with auspicious blessings.
In Italy the ladybug has been given the nickname “commaruccia” which translates “little midwives”.
The ladybug symbolism of abundant blessings has led to ladybugs being ever popular on all clothing and all kinds of other stuff for children and adults alike.
Ladybugs as a symbol of self-reliance
All though the ladybugs may be tiny creatures, they are well capable of protecting themselves from larger predators.
When the ladybug is endangered it will release a ghastly scent which the predator will find so repulsive it will go elsewhere to find its next meal.
After observing this kind of action, people have said that the ladybug is a good example and a symbol of self-reliance no matter how small a creature is.
Ladybug and the Virgin Mary
It has long been claimed in folklore that the ladybug was a favorite to the Virgin Mary. This little create has been associated with Mary, mother of Jesus for centuries.
Some say the seven spots on ladybugs represent the Seven Sorrows of Mary; others say they represent the Seven Joys of Mary.
~~~~~Oklahoma Ranks Near The Bottom In Child Health Insurance Rate
Georgetown researchers examined newly released U.S. Census data and found that three-quarters of children nationwide who lost health insurance coverage live in states like Oklahoma that have not expanded Medicaid to parents or other low-income adults.
Oklahoma already has the second-highest uninsured rate in the country — more than 14 percent of adults in Oklahoma don’t have health insurance.
If Oklahoma’s application for a Medicaid waiver to impose a work requirement on very low-income adults, including parents who receive health coverage through Medicaid, is approved, Alker expects the child uninsured health rate also to increase.
Under the proposal, able-bodied adult beneficiaries would have to document that they are working at least 20 hours a week or participating in job-training or volunteer activities to maintain their SoonerCare coverage.
If it’s approved, Oklahoma would be the only non-expansion state to have work requirements.

~~~~~Oklahoma’s progress on child uninsured rate has stalled
All children should be able to see a doctor or fill a prescription when they need to. After all, access to quality health care in childhood makes it more likely that a person will succeed and thrive throughout their life. But in Oklahoma, children are less likely to have access to health care than their peers in most other states. New analysis of Census Bureau data shows that after years of steady declines in the child uninsured rate, progress in Oklahoma has stalled: for the last three years, the child uninsured rate has hovered at around 8 percent. In 2017, that gave us the fourth-highest share of children without health insurance in the US, working out to 82,000 children uninsured. That’s enough to nearly fill OU’s Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (capacity: 86,112).
This is bad news for Oklahoma – but fortunately, Oklahoma has the opportunity to remedy the problem. Bringing access to quality, affordable health care to our children will protect their health, position them to seize the opportunities offered in school and at work, and set Oklahoma on the path to being a better, stronger state.
~~~~~Oklahoma’s progress on child uninsured rate has stalled
All children should be able to see a doctor or fill a prescription when they need to. After all, access to quality health care in childhood makes it more likely that a person will succeed and thrive throughout their life. But in Oklahoma, children are less likely to have access to health care than their peers in most other states. New analysis of Census Bureau data shows that after years of steady declines in the child uninsured rate, progress in Oklahoma has stalled: for the last three years, the child uninsured rate has hovered at around 8 percent. In 2017, that gave us the fourth-highest share of children without health insurance in the US, working out to 82,000 children uninsured. That’s enough to nearly fill OU’s Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (capacity: 86,112).
This is bad news for Oklahoma – but fortunately, Oklahoma has the opportunity to remedy the problem. Bringing access to quality, affordable health care to our children will protect their health, position them to seize the opportunities offered in school and at work, and set Oklahoma on the path to being a better, stronger state.
