Balance in your Relationship - Flowers grow like Lovers.

In your own life you should know lovers are like flowers in that with the warm sun, water and the things the flower needs is much like love. A point to do better than not! "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow?" isn't the point to do better as a whole to grow!

So in a relationship there needs to be a foundation, best interest in mind. And know love has no boundaries but then that is ok if it makes you a better person then it's worth it! Lovers, love the point for all to do better in our short lives together! Me from being interested in a few black women from here and Germany. A married lady that accidentally ran me over with her car to another lady I raced on the highway so I could pay her toll. (Strange Attractors, Quantum Entanglement whats the odds of it all!) A hairdresser that took me to a gay bar on the first date it was her safe zone! To a lesbian couple. On and on I go. Why disable yourself?

Strange Attractors? Isn't life better to be better as a whole to not be disturbed! Balance, best interest in mind because we all would benefit as a whole. Noting the cipolla matrix in a point of being lovers! "System values that get close enough to the attractor values remain close even if slightly disturbed." , "Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon that occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of the state of the other(s), even when the particles are separated by a large distance." Cannot be described independently of the state of the other(s)? No man is an island. No one is self-sufficient; everyone relies on others. This saying comes from a sermon by the seventeenth-century English author John Donne.

~~~~~FIVE (5) RULES to find balance in your Relationship.
1. Over Comunicate
Good communication is an important part of all relationships and is an essential part of any healthy partnership — it is arguably the single most important factor in all human interaction. People often confuse communication for talking or making conversation, and this is the root cause of why many of these same people are so unsuccessful in communicating with their partners. Communication in relationships, at its core, is about connecting and using your verbal, written (eg. text messages) and physical skills to fulfill your partner’s needs.
“Whether you’re dealing with something as simple as discussing where to have dinner or the complications of conflict, you should at all times express your honest feelings and needs, even if you think the other person won’t like what they hear!”
Talk to each other! No matter how well you know and/or love each other, you cannot read the other person’s mind. It’s always better to over-communicate and to doit right away, instead of allowing frustrations to grow over time.
Even in the workplace, although you may have to be more formal or diplomatic when choosing your words, frank and candid communication is absolutely key.
Whenever possible, this honesty needs to be coupled with specificity. When we speak in vague terms, communication can fail. It’s not enough to tell someone you feel unappreciated, you have to give examples of specific incidents that made you feel that way and what you would have liked to have happened instead.
2. Give and Take
‘Give and take’ is a mechanism inherent to all personal relationships — you cannot expect to receive something if you don’t offer on your own turn.
“I personally like to think of it as a 51/49 exchange —always be willing to give a little more than what you expect in return!”
Just as you need to be open about your thoughts and desires, you must be prepared to listen to everyone else’s as well. And if you are actually in the position to make decisions that affect both of you, make sure to take their perspective into account.
Try to find areas of agreement. When in doubt, compromise. For example, if you both want to watch a movie try to find one that you both enjoy, even if it’s not the one you wanted to see the most. Or each of you pick a movie and make a marathon out of it. If you don’t have time for a marathon, start taking turns over a period of weeks. You can even get creative by discussing your priorities. If what you eat is actually more important to you than what you watch, you take care of dinner and your significant other can take care of choosing the entertainment. Experiment and find the system that works the best for both of you.
3. Manage Expectations
Every individual, every situation and every relationship is different. We are in a constant state of learning about one another and since people grow and change, the lessons never stop. The first step in finding more balance is to assume you know nothing!
People will never be what we want them to be in our fantasies, or what we thought they were when we first met. They might not be who you thought they were the day before. That is what makes people so beautiful. Appreciate the unknown instead of trying control it.
Next, don’t try and make someone your everything. Your partner might be your best friend, but perhaps he/she shouldn’t be your only friend. Don’t assume your closest gal pal, who is also your business partner and roommate, will always be there when you need them!
“Don’t expect one person to always understand you, agree with you, support you and be available to do things with you. No relationship can bare that kind of pressure!”
Deploy kindness and give each other space!
4. Trust Always (until you don’t)
If you’re like me, then trust should not necessarily be earned — which means everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Or, in other words, leave the baggage at the door. Whatever you think you’ve learned about relationships or human nature from past relationships can be unfair to apply to someone new.
“Let your partner’s actions and words speak for themselves!”
Even if you understand what they do, don’t make the mistake of assuming you know ‘why’ they do it just because you have experienced something similar with someone else. That’s not empathy, that’s projecting!!
If you want to understand someone’s thinking or motivation, just ask them, And when you don’t like what someone does, don’t jump to conclusions and assume they were motivated by malicious intent. It could be as simple as miscommunication — perhaps their intentions were good. So ask, listen and try to understand where they are coming from.
5. Encourage One Another.
Last but not least, try to encourage and support each other. It is the foundation of any good and lasting relationship, which is in part achieved by helping each other grow. Be actively interested in their goals and ambitions, even if the subject or activity isn’t your personal favorite.
~~~~~How To Create A Balanced Relationship With Your Partner
1. Communicate
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
The first step towards creating balance is one that you've probably heard before. "Communicate: this involves both speaking and listening," relationship coach at Maze of Love, Lauren Irish, tells Bustle. "Without open lines of two-way communication, the relationship will be out of balance because only one partner is really being heard and considered. So be sure to really listen when your partner is sharing and don't be afraid to share! The whole point of a relationship is to co-create an environment where both people complement each other, if each person isn't contributing or isn't able to contribute, the relationship will likely be one-sided."

2. Accept Disagreement
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
Having a balanced relationship doesn't mean you agree on everything — in fact, it can be just the opposite. "Be willing to disagree: a balanced relationship isn't conflict-free, conflict can help to restore balance through getting bottled emotions out in the open or it can act as a venue for sharing different perspectives," Irish says. "The key to disagreeing effectively is to not attack the other person and maintain respect on both sides."

Make room to disagree, try to understand each other's point of view, and debate with respect. You don't need to be the same person, you just need to hear each other out.

3. Find Your Unique Balance
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
Not every relationship is going to be balanced in the same way. "Know what balance looks like in your relationship: Every relationship is unique and will have different points of balance," Irish says. "Take time to figure out what's important to you and where you're willing to compromise. If you stay true to your values, you'll find a balance that works for you." It might not look like someone else's relationship — and that's OK.

4. Be Authentically You
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
If your relationship is going to have true balance, you both need to be authentic. "Any time you are not authentically yourself it's a sign that you are not truly comfortable in a relationship," relationship therapist Aimee Hartstein, LCSW tells Bustle. "If you are hiding things, embarrassed about things, faking things, it suggests that you don't feel that [your partner] will truly like you for yourself." Being authentic shows that you feel supported in the relationship — and your partner should feel able to do the same.

5. Consult And Consider Each Other
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
You might not always do what the other one wants, but having a balanced relationship means taking them into consideration. "

If your partner regularly makes relationship decisions without consulting you or incorporating your needs, desires, and preferences into the decision making process, they care more about getting their way than they do about creating harmony in the relationship," Adam Maynard, a relationship coach who specializes in helping people navigate relationship challenges, tells Bustle "They also hold more of the power because their needs are regularly being prioritized." If only one of you is thinking about the other, there's no balance.

6. Be Independent
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
Having a balanced relationship isn't just about balance between the two of you, it's also about having balance between your relationship and the rest of your life. "It’s incredibly important for both partners to maintain a sense of independence outside of their relationship," Jalesa Tucker, a content coordinator at One Love, a foundation dedicated to teaching young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, tells Bustle. "By engaging in activities independent of each other, couples are better able to maintain their sense of self and bring diverse experiences to their relationship."

7. Take Space When You Need It
Andrew Zaeh for Bustle
Being in a balanced relationship doesn't mean your relationship is always going to feel perfect. There may be times when you need to take a bit of space or when you're not feeling 100 percent, over-the-moon crazy about each other. That's OK. Riding that ebb and flow of a relationship is part of maintaining balance.

A balanced relationship is a healthy relationship — it's about being equal partners and making sure that you're both feeling comfortable and supported. But it's also about making sure there's independence. The trick is to keep checking in and communicating, that way you can fix an issues or tensions that come up, before they throw the balance off.

Getting the life force back!

In a time of such disparity's, drug addictions a loss of being able to think for yourself. Remember you have that power it just takes your voice to tell them to get brought up! Vote them out, get your life back as you are not to suffer with them!

My PEZ!

Way back not relating to any EGO, when I was with my girlfriend at Walmart. There was a PEZ that kind of looked like me but without glasses. So there was another PEZ with glasses so I bought four of them and took the effort to put them together one for me and one for her only for her to be creeped out by him. Understandable when you look at them enough. Their intent was to be slightly cool just to have one! I looked for a PEZ that looked like her and I had no luck I tried! I took effort is what mattered!

Note a theme song for my PEZ photo!

Society is Declining - ACA should be struck down DUR!

As you know "Studies suggest that illiteracy rates are rising steadily each year."
Facing the knowledge economy in small towns that can't compete with bigger towns.
Heath care is being threatened again. There is much to say about a decline!

~~~~~The report claims that 1 in 3 people in the U.S. drop out of high school and that 1 in 4 American families is low-income with parents who lack education and skills to improve their economic status. This maintains a cycle of poverty, affecting each new generation of children.
Low literacy is said to be connected to over $230 billion a year in health care costs because almost half of Americans cannot read well enough to comprehend health information, incurring higher costs. American Journal of Public Health.
https://education.cu-portland.edu/blog/education-news-roundup/illiteracy-in-america
http://walmartramen.blogspot.com/2019/03/illiteracy-on-society-never-could-get.html
So with the cost of the poor only for others to get rid of all their unskilled labors for the knowledge economy in small towns that can't compete with bigger cities with more resources to a small town with people that have nothing, only to have a job skills gap for 25 years is a bad thing!
Health care is bad in smaller towns anyway to the fact many have insurance but can't afford to use it. But to then to kill off the ACA removing peoples healthcare driving up the cost to others to cover the cost of the uninsured. Cost in the workplaces with the liability issues of uninsured workers getting hurt at work unhealthy workers going right into workers comp driving up that cost to cover the increasing cases of people going into it. It's just a big pile of shit! Society is declining! Well who are the new middle class going to be? People that have cars vs the people that don't? Is that it, is that all we have?
~~~~~Trump administration now says entire Affordable Care Act should be struck down
Overturning the law would have far-reaching consequences -- way beyond disrupting coverage for the millions of people who get their health insurance on the exchanges or through Medicaid expansion.

Obamacare saves senior citizens money on their Medicare coverage and prescription drugs. It lets many Americans obtain free birth control, mammograms and cholesterol tests. And it allows children to stay on their parents' health insurance plans until they turn 26.

And, even the Trump administration is using the landmark health reform law to try to lower prescription drug prices.

The Trump administration would not defend the law in court so a coalition of 21 Democratic states led by California stepped in.

"This lawsuit is as dangerous as it is reckless. It threatens the healthcare of tens of millions of Americans across the country -- from California to Kentucky and all the way to Maine," said California Attorney General Xavier Becerra in a statement. "The Affordable Care Act is an integral part of our healthcare system. ... Because no American should fear losing healthcare, we will defend the ACA every step of the way."

After November's midterm elections, the Democratic-led House of Representatives also moved to defend the law. In briefs filed with the appellate court, House lawyers said that if O'Connor's ruling were upheld "the consequences will be devastating."

"Millions of Americans will be denied affordable health care," the House lawyers wrote. They added that "insurance costs will skyrocket" and "Medicare recipients will face steep increases in the price of drugs and other services."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the administration's stance amounted to "all-out war on the health care of the American people."

"On the very first day that the Democratic Majority held the gavel, the House of Representatives voted to intervene against Republicans' monstrous health care lawsuit to defend people with pre-existing conditions and the health care of all Americans," Pelosi said in a statement. "While the Trump Administration broadens its monstrous ambitions from destroying protections for pre-existing conditions to tearing down every last benefit and protection the Affordable Care Act provides, Democrats are fiercely defending the law of the land and protecting all Americans' health care."

Sen. Kamala Harris, a California Democrat, became the first 2020 candidate to weigh in on the filing with her criticism Monday night. During Attorney General William Barr's confirmation hearing in January, Harris asked him whether he was open to reconsidering the department's position. He replied: "Yes."

"Trump and his administration are trying to take health care away from tens of millions of Americans — again," Harris wrote in a tweet. "We must fight back again with everything we've got. And in 2020, we need to elect a president who will make health care a right."

Parataxic distortion neutralized by adaption - Interpersonal relationships and emotions

Parataxic distortion is a false view of people we all have if you are not aware you are doing it. Talking in the term of love. Interpersonal relationships and emotions a point to be "brought up!"

~~~~~Parataxic distortion is a psychiatric term first used by Harry S. Sullivan to describe the inclination to skew perceptions of others based on fantasy. The "distortion" is a faulty perception of others, based not on actual experience with the other individual, but on a projected fantasy personality attributed to the individual.
Interpersonal relationships and emotions
Distorting one's perception of others can often interfere with interpersonal relationships. In many cases, however, it may be beneficial to do so. Humans are constantly and subconsciously stereotyping. According to Paul Martin Lester, "our brains naturally classify what we see, we can't help but notice the differences in physical attributes between one person and another." Parataxic distortion runs parallel to stereotyping while it remains in the subconscious. As we make quick judgments, we are drawing from previous experiences stored in our memory.
Parataxic distortion can be a beneficial defense mechanism for the individual, allowing the individual to maintain relationships with others with whom he or she would otherwise be unable to interact or allowing the individual to endure difficult periods in relationships. A self-imposed blindness to certain personality traits can keep a relationship healthy, or it can also prove destructive. For instance, parataxic distortion can keep one in denial of the abusive nature of a spouse.
And so is the point Parataxic distortion is not a issue when you accept each other as is or better how everyone can be!. You are not them and they are not you. Both adapt, to make all better as a whole! Being supplemental to each other offering personal security a vent, foundation being un intrusive to. Being considerate is not being intrusive get over it! I mean feel free to help out, any contributions to society is appreciated! As the same in the relationship to make both better as a whole contributions to the relationship! Like the saying "Don't fight the waterfall." Or the part of Zen don't fight the water (It just splashes in your face as long as you do it.) go with the flow let the power be yours! Both be one with the water!
For me I prefer Polyandry "V" so how does that play into Parataxic distortion? Very well as everyone has to accept each other distortions don't matter as the point of the relationship is for her happiness as there is a reason for those type of relationships to rid the pains in life etc and the two guys accept each other as it is for her happiness and the guys benefit as a whole and by proxy! Accepting makes it a long term. If you are in your 50's you really only have 20 years to go. If it's polyandry it's gold, a life changing event who would leave? Kill the male EGO and "Don't fight the waterfall!"
You have found it? Yes! Back in the 90's when I worked at a hotel I went up to the Duck Club restaurant in the hotel to use the espresso machine. (I knew how to use it.) In the kitchen the lady I knew and two guys where sitting with her. I walked in going to the espresso machine when she called me by name I looked and the two guys kissed her on her cheeks at the same time she smiled like a cheshire cat. Shocked by the unexpected kisses I said "You found it!" She said "I found it, damn right I found it!" My view of that the closeness is too close for any Parataxic distortion as they where one!
Illiteracy on Society, Never could get there, Sorry your income is too low!
Illiteracy is income related! As it's said small towns are small for a reason. Make nothing have nothing, means they have nothing otherwise if they made enough money but chose to buy nothing making the town small then that is a sign of depression they need medicine. Illiteracy is income related because they couldn't afford an education so there is just not enough foundation for it. Small towns have less money, less resources to do better. Well how are you to afford to go to college on low pay there is not enough grants to give to all the low income people. Like how not everyone overseas can get a refrigerator. It's about the pay!
In life like the banks underwriter saying "Sorry your income is too low!" in a way to keep the town at their level as small towns are mostly poor, so is the town small! The wages needs to go up then comes the education there is just too much income inequality! Education cost like it does to have good credit you have to buy something. And you can't buy something if you have nothing and many around you has nothing also.
https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-30925252
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/02/06/how-rising-han a bigger-hurts-everyone-even-the-rich
All of the bad is a result of low wages. Low foundation from low pay. Children waged adults live like a child not like a adult so kept down by the wages. So raise the wages so the people can afford to get a education to compete with the change in the knowledge economy!
Not doing so just makes the many low. Like my college instructor liked to say. "Raised in a corn field your mind is only mushed as the corn field you live in." Meaning a lack of environmental stimulus or pulled out of school to help on the farm. If you are in a pool of Illiterate people? Wouldn't it imply that something like dyslexia that could relate to it would be caused by a lack of income by the mass amount of them in town because it wouldn't be a virus passed around. "Dyslexia - How was the brain able to learn speech/language patterns but not visual patterns(reading)?" Just saying because low is low!
My college instructor also said "Education is like the water that covers the poop in the toilet the less you have the more the poop comes out of the toilet." The result of low education showing the need for better education in that is pay to pay for it otherwise they don't have it and is why small towns are more deficient than a bigger city with bigger pay and more resources. If the small town can't take care of it's people then the wages should go up so they can afford to get brought up. If they are not brought up then they won't be able to compete in the knowledge economy and will be bulldozed by the bigger cities as small towns are not able to complete with bigger cities with more resources! Anyway...
Note the knowledge economy is also a farce!
~~~~~Consequences of illiteracy
The consequences of illiteracy are many and harmful in several respects. As well as affecting illiterate individuals themselves in their daily lives and often jeopardizing their future, this scourge has a significant effect on society, both socially and economically.
https://www.fondationalphabetisation.org/en/causes-of-illiteracy/consequences-of-illiteracy

~~~~~The Lifelong Impact of Illiteracy
Literacy deeply and persistently impacts access to education, economic development, and life outcomes. Even in our modern world, the numbers are startling. Millions around the world and in our own country remain functionally illiterate, reading below the basic level.
https://education.cu-portland.edu/blog/classroom-resources/illiteracy-impacts
~~~~~12 Effects of Illiteracy on Society
When people cannot read or write, it has negative effects on them as well as the society in which they live. According to the World Statistics Institute, approximately 30 percent of the world’s population is illiterate. Studies suggest that illiteracy rates are rising steadily each year.
http://taravoices.com/2015/12/18/12-effects-of-illiteracy-on-society

"Studies suggest that illiteracy rates are rising steadily each year."
Well yes America is declining! The reading levels of our Presidents is declining. Voting in less and less literate people to be president, to be low like them so they make sense to the illiteracy of the voters? Why else is the decline? What do they have? Who ever dies with the most stuff wins! So if you make nothing you have nothing and down we all go never getting there because of not being allowed to. Is the income inequality driving this? Less income is less education as they can't afford it. There needs to be a change to go higher to get there!

~~~~~Reading Levels
One way to compare speeches is to assess their reading levels using the Flesch-Kincaid grade level test. The Flesch-Kincaid readability tests are designed to indicate how difficult a passage is to understand.
Moped, Depom, Porn? Well lets go downtown then!
Mopeds seem to be growing a lot these days. So I must talk about some safety about them! I had one when I was a kid and I did end up getting hit by a car on one. I was stopped and was making a left turn when boom, a car hit me from behind!
http://walmartramen.blogspot.com/2018/12/me-getting-hit-by-car-on-moped.html
So if you do drive a moped drive them only at daytime, not in a high traffic city as big cities have less freedom for stuff like that. Disable the speed governor to be able to compete with traffic! And if possible put on a smaller rear sprocket for top speed. E3 spark plugs and other mods. That is the fun in a moped making it faster / safely! Don't forget to lock it up to something when you go in shopping!
There are many places to get one just go search for one go there put it in your trunk and go! Well they also have them on Walmart.com also.
Keystone XL blocked again, looking ahead don't need it
Looking ahead we won't really need the Keystone XL with the damage it can do.
Tar sands vs just plugging in your car how will the history books look at this?
~~~~~Auto companies around the world are gearing up for what will be a massive financial commitment. Carmakers plan to invest more than $90 billion in the shift to electric vehicles over the next decade or so, according to a Reuters analysis.

Electric motors are simpler, making them easier to maintain and meaning they should last longer. Keeping them charged is cheaper than buying gas, an advantage that will become even more significant if gas prices rise.

Plus, "they are fun to drive," says Tom Murphy, a managing editor at Wards Auto, which ranks the world's best engines. "They're enjoyable, they're quiet ... and there's loads of torque" — which means instant acceleration, he says.

On the other hand, gas-powered cars are cheaper to buy than electric vehicles. It's also quicker to fill up at the pump than it is to recharge, and the country is packed with gas stations, while charging station infrastructure is still in its infancy.

But experts predict batteries will get cheaper, charging will get quicker, and chargers will become more readily available.

~~~~~San Francisco, CA -- Today, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit denied yet another attempt by TransCanada to begin construction on its proposed Keystone XL pipeline. The court left in place a ruling by the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana that blocked construction on the controversial tar sands pipeline amid an ongoing legal challenge.
Late last year, the District Court ruled that the Trump administration violated bedrock environmental laws when approving a federal permit for the pipeline. The ruling blocked any construction while the government revises its environmental review.
TransCanada and the Trump administration have appealed that decision in the Ninth Circuit. Today’s order leaves the injunction on construction in place while the court decides on the merits of the case.
TransCanada had argued that if the company could not begin construction by March 15, it would miss the 2019 construction season altogether. According to TransCanada, today’s decision means the earliest TransCanada could start construction is 2020, if it ever starts at all.
The Indigenous Environmental Network and North Coast Rivers Alliance, parties in a consolidated case, also filed an opposition to TransCanada’s motion.
“It’s been over a decade since this dirty tar sands pipeline was proposed, and TransCanada just keeps doing the same thing and hoping for a different result,” said Sierra Club Senior Attorney Doug Hayes. “Keystone XL would be a bad deal for the American people, and it’s never been more obvious that it will never be built.”
“The Keystone XL pipeline would be an absolute disaster for wildlife, water and our climate,” said Jared Margolis, a senior attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity. “TransCanada won’t be threatening communities and habitats with pollution for profit while regulators review this terrible climate-killing project.”
“In court, facts matter. And those facts show that Keystone XL is a flawed project,” said Jackie Prange, a senior attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council. “The Ninth Circuit rightly rejected TransCanada’s premature attempt to build this dirty pipeline.”
“The Ninth Circuit made the right call in upholding the prohibition against construction activity by TransCanada. We do not need a foreign corporation disrupting Montana communities for a dangerous project whose permit has been deemed unlawful by federal courts,” said Dena Hoff, farmer and member-leader of Northern Plains Resource Council. “If implemented, the Keystone XL pipeline would threaten the drinking water for tens of thousands of Montanans not to mention important water sources for many agricultural communities. TransCanada should not be trying to force through a reckless project that does not currently meet legal standards.”
“TransCanada keeps losing in the courts because facts matter,” said Jane Kleeb, Bold Alliance president. “Farmers and ranchers will not turn over their land to a foreign corporation. It’s way past time for TransCanada to pack it up and go home.”
“Today’s ruling is another important moment in our fight against the corporate polluters who have rushed to destroy our planet,” said Marcie Keever, legal director at Friends of the Earth. “Environmental laws exist to protect people and our lands and waters. Today, the courts continued to show Trump and his corporate polluter friends that they cannot start work on this disastrous pipeline that would harm rural landowners, farmers, ecosystems and Native communities.”
A bus stop through space and time!
A bus stop is where there are many connections, crossed paths. One that I had was in the 70's and 90's and unknown! It's at the "Whittier Square Historic District" Tulsa Oklahoma!
The school I was in the summer was around there. A church / school sort of run by nuns back then in the 70's. "St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church" Where I had sort of a date with a married lady when I was 10. When I was in my elementary time 1979 I think, I remember a teacher taking me to a bar to have a coke to also meet her boyfriend or husband. It was something about her pay check to pay the rent, she brought me along. Nothing bad! I sat on the bar stool and had a cherry coke in a glass with cherry's in it. Bind blowing at the time! The bar was also past the movie theater on Whittier Square Historic District.
The porn shop in the 90's where I seen a stripper go through a safety wall was there also "Whittier News!" And the strip club was next door to it. That in the 70's our class would walk by it going to lunch to a Howard Johson's (I think it was?) I crossed paths with myself in different times LOL!
I was in a porn shop that was next door to a strip club a friend was  working there at the time. We where talking when all of a sudden we heard a commotion next door and I saw a fist go through the wall. It was a safety wall in the back of the strip club. Just a hole in the wall with painted cardboard over it like it is a part of the wall. Someone brought a gun because he was jealous a stripper was lap dancing someone else so she took the safety exit shooting across the floor on all fours in outfit in the porn shop. It happened so fast and she shot out the wall so fast it was like a mutant came out of the wall. The movie Total Recall was still in my mindset so it related at the time! I am conflicted about this if it was a sign of god I was to hook up with her because she busted into my life. I didn't know that back then, it just happened and is all I knew.
It's those things you wonder about in life!
And also in the 90's some co-workers opened a Mexican restaurant there in-front of "Whittier News!" on the corner.
So because of all the connections that place does have paranormal meanings.
Walmart's robots and apps in stores changes rolling
Times are changing. A push for the knowledge economy in a world of income divide full of broke people cutting back their spending here and there effecting businesses having to adapt to the poverty wages of many consumers. With workers not being able to afford the skills with the job skills going higher. There is a problem of growth mostly in small towns that can't compete with those bigger towns.
These are things to addressed to have more help for the workers to make the change. These changes are bigger than just local store issues because of the size of the changes we are heading for in world.
More and more robots are taking the unskilled jobs pushing the workers to better jobs. So in that is the change to things that is better. More help is needed for the workers to handle it. And people that shop at Walmart is upset over all of the hoopla they just want to get their tacos the masses of people shop there because they are broke. Like the masses on the first of the month at 12 am at Walmart with robots in the way just a pile of crap ending up with a redneck shooting at it because he thinks it's taking his job. Sure it can happen at Walmart!
~~~~~Walmart turns to robots and apps in stores
Walmart is turning to new tech to reduce costs and convince shoppers to keep taking trips to the store.

This week, Walmart (WMT) announced it would bring robotic floor scrubbers to 360 stores by the end of the year. It also touted a new app, Dotcom Store, that allows associates to order products for customers on Walmart.com when they're out of stock on the shelves.

Both innovations tie into Walmart's plan to build what CEO Doug McMillon has called "tech-empowered stores."

More than 3,500 US supercenters are Walmart's biggest advantage over Amazon (AMZN), but they're expensive to run. Walmart has 704 million square-feet of space to mop up around the country, and the company believes the robot janitor will save time and free up workers to do other jobs around the store.

It is searching for ways to generate efficiency on the labor side and eliminate hassles for customers.

Robot janitors and grocery pickers
The 920-pound self-driving scrubbers, called the "Auto-C," use automated technology to navigate custom routes around the store and mop up the floors. The machine relies on sensors to scan for people and aisles.

Walmart has tested out other robots and tech to automate tasks, such as unloading boxes from delivery trucks, checking items on the shelves, changing price labels on products, and selecting items for online grocery.

"One of our focus areas has been on bots," CFO Brett Biggs told investors at an October gathering.

Walmart is running an experiment at 50 stores with "Auto-S," a shelf-scanning robot that travels around aisles and identifies which items are low or out of stock, or where prices are wrong and labels missing. That information is important to help squeeze out sales.

It's experimenting with a bot in around 500 stores that unloads boxes off delivery trucks and automatically scans and sorts the items by department. Walmart said the unloader saves time and helps reduce worker turnover in the labor-intensive back areas of the store.

Down the road, Walmart sees all three robots communicating with each other to get products to the shelves more quickly and ensure they're fully stocked.

In Salem, New Hampshire, Walmart is piloting "Alphabot," a mobile cart that gathers refrigerated and frozen items from storage to speed up grocery pickup orders. In Sherman, Texas, it's testing an ATM-like machine that automatically dispenses fresh grocery pickup orders.

"There are all these activities -- mopping, checking inventory, unpacking trucks -- that are not sexy, but are required," said Oliver Chen, who covers retail at Cowen. "If you can utilize technology to make that happen, you can free up labor to do other things."

Although Walmart maintains that the bots serve as assistants to workers and allow them to engage more with customers on the sales floor, labor advocates worry that automating manual tasks will lead to job losses.

"There will be have and have-nots that can afford the robotization of retail," Chen added. Amazon bought Kiva systems to automate its warehouses, but Walmart has a more difficult task of trying to figure out how to deploy robots in stores.

Options for customers
Dotcom Store, a new app for workers, will help the company keep shoppers from heading to Amazon when they can't find something on Walmart's shelves.

The new app, available in nearly all of Walmart's stores, allows workers to order items online for customers if they're out of stock. Customers can pay with cash, check, or credit and get the product shipped to their homes or for in-store pickup.

"Dotcom Store offers customers even more assortment options than what's on our physical shelves," Tom Ward, Walmart's senior vice president of digital and central operations, said in a statement this week.

The app adds to two other programs Walmart has rolled out recently: detailed mobile store maps for customers to locate items on the shelves, and "Check Out with Me," which allows workers to ring up customers on the spot while they're shopping.

Walmart is trying to reduce customer pain points in stores, such as waiting in long lines or trouble finding an item, Chen said.

He warned, however, that retailers like Walmart should proceed with caution when launching new tech in stores. "You don't want to mess up the experience for the 95% of people who aren't interested in this yet and cause friction for the bulk of your revenue."

Climate Change Will Alter Our Food!

In a time of many issues for kids to face with their issues not being addressed so they had to go with a Lawsuit. And for the kids to have a talk to their parents about the issues they are facing for doing nothing is needed. They could die, talk... Well at least some will die. No food to eat 121 deg summers etc!  Well the kids are upset being a victim of stupid people! I will see it myself but I will be in my 70's so I know I am dead at that time so I live now. Well in a time of disabled people that can't think as it seems! UGH! Just wasting time being stupid where we all need to be open before we die!
No really!
https://insideclimatenews.org/tags/childrens-climate-lawsuit

But the point is global warming... A drought like in burned up crops and a bunch of nasty making less food. And migrating people from the equator moving up here with less food to eat and money to spend. Less of everything. Kids are young and all of that is their time! Agreed they need to say it more!

~~~~~Climate change will shrink US economy and kill thousands, government report warns. https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/23/health/climate-change-report-bn/index.html
~~~~~How Climate Change Will Alter Our Food
The world population is expected to grow to almost 10 billion by 2050. With 3.4 billion more mouths to feed, and the growing desire of the middle class for meat and dairy in developing countries, global demand for food could increase by between 59 and 98 percent. This means that agriculture around the world needs to step up production and increase yields. But scientists say that the impacts of climate change—higher temperatures, extreme weather, drought, increasing levels of carbon dioxide and sea level rise—threaten to decrease the quantity and jeopardize the quality of our food supplies.

A recent study of global vegetable and legume production concluded that if greenhouse gas emissions continue on their current trajectory, yields could fall by 35 percent by 2100 due to water scarcity and increased salinity and ozone.

Another new study found that U.S. production of corn (a.k.a. maize), much of which is used to feed livestock and make biofuel, could be cut in half by a 4˚C increase in global temperatures—which could happen by 2100 if we don’t reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. If we limit warming to under 2˚ C, the goal of the Paris climate accord, U.S. corn production could still decrease by about 18 percent. Researchers also found that the risk of the world’s top four corn exporters (U.S., Brazil, Argentina and the Ukraine) suffering simultaneous crop failures of 10 percent or more is about 7 percent with a 2˚C increase in temperature. If temperatures rise 4˚C, the odds shoot up to a staggering 86 percent.

“We’re most concerned about the sharply reduced yields,” said Peter de Menocal, Dean of Science at Columbia University and director of the Center for Climate and Life. “We already have trouble feeding the world and this additional impact on crop yields will impact the world’s poorest and amplify the rich/poor divide that already exists.”

But climate change will not only affect crops—it will also impact meat production, fisheries and other fundamental aspects of our food supply.

Weather extremes

Eighty percent of the world’s crops are rainfed, so most farmers depend on the predictable weather agriculture has adapted to in order to produce their crops. However, climate change is altering rainfall patterns around the world.

When temperatures rise, the warmer air holds more moisture and can make precipitation more intense. Extreme precipitation events, which are becoming more common, can directly damage crops, resulting in decreased yields.

Flooding resulting from the growing intensity of tropical storms and sea level rise is also likely to increase with climate change, and can drown crops. Because floodwaters can transport sewage, manure or pollutants from roads, farms and lawns, more pathogens and toxins could find their way into our food.

Hotter weather will lead to faster evaporation, resulting in more droughts and water shortages—so there will be less water for irrigation just when it is needed most.

About 10 percent of the crops grown in the world’s major food production regions are irrigated with groundwater that is non-renewable. In other words, aquifers are being drained faster than they’re refilling—a problem which will only get worse as the world continues to heat up, explained Michael Puma, director of Columbia’s Center for Climate Systems Research.

The ultimate effect of rising heat depends on each crop’s optimal range of temperatures for growth and reproduction. If temperatures exceed this range, yields will drop because heat stress can disrupt a plant’s pollination, flowering, root development and growth stages.

According to a 2011 National Academy of Sciences report, for every degree Celsius that the global thermostat rises, there will be a 5 to 15 percent decrease in overall crop production.

Heat waves, which are expected to become more frequent, make livestock less fertile and more vulnerable to disease. Dairy cows are especially sensitive to heat, so milk production could decline.

Parasites and diseases that target livestock thrive in warm, moist conditions. This could result in livestock farmers treating parasites and animal diseases by using more chemicals and veterinary medicines, which might then enter the food chain.

Climate change will also enable weeds, pests and fungi to expand their range and numbers. In addition, earlier springs and milder winters will allow more of these pests and weeds to survive for a longer time.

Plant diseases and pests that are new to an area could destroy crops that haven’t had time to evolve defenses against them. For example, new virulent mutant strains of wheat rust, a fungal infection that had not been seen for over 50 years, have spread from Africa to Asia, the Middle East and Europe, devastating crops.

Higher levels of carbon dioxide

Because plants use carbon dioxide to make their food, more CO2 in the atmosphere can enhance crop yields in some areas if other conditions—nutrient amounts, soil moisture and water availability—are right. But the beneficial effects of rising carbon dioxide levels on plant growth can be offset by extreme weather, drought or heat stress.

While higher CO2 levels can stimulate plant growth and increase the amount of carbohydrates the plant produces, this comes at the expense of protein, vitamin and mineral content. Researchers found that plants’ protein content will likely decrease significantly if carbon dioxide levels reach 540 to 960 parts per million, which we are projected to reach by 2100. (We are currently at 409 ppm.) Studies show that barley, wheat, potatoes and rice have 6 to 15 percent lower concentrations of protein when grown at those levels of CO2. The protein content of corn and sorghum, however, did not decline significantly.

Moreover, the concentrations of important elements—such as iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, copper, sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogen—are expected to decrease with more CO2 in the atmosphere. When CO2 levels rise, the openings in plant shoots and leaves shrink, so they lose less water. Research suggests that as plants lose water more slowly, their circulation slows down, and they draw in less nitrogen and minerals from the soil. Vitamin B levels in crops may drop as well because nitrogen in plants is critical for producing these vitamins. In one study, rice grown with elevated CO2 concentrations contained 17 percent less vitamin B1 (thiamine), 17 percent less vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 13 percent less vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), and 30 percent less vitamin B9 (folate) than rice grown under current CO2 levels.

A warmer, more acidic ocean

540 million people around the world rely on fish for their protein and income—but seafood will be impacted by climate change, too. Since 1955, the oceans have absorbed over 90 percent of the excess heat trapped by greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere. As a result, the ocean is warmer today than it’s ever been since recordkeeping began in 1880.

As the oceans heat up, many fish and shellfish are moving north in search of cooler waters.

Off the U.S. northeastern coast, American lobster, red hake and black sea bass have shifted their range an average of 119 miles northward since the late 1960s. In Portugal, fishermen have recently caught 20 new species, most of which migrated from warmer waters. And Chinook salmon, usually found around California and Oregon, are now entering Arctic rivers. Moving into new territory, however, these species may face competition with other species over food, which can affect their survival rates. The range shifts are affecting fishermen, too, who must choose whether to follow the fish they’re used to catching as they move north or fish different species. As these ecosystems change, fishing regulations are having a hard time keeping up, jeopardizing the livelihoods of fishermen whose quotas for certain species of fish may no longer be relevant.

Warmer waters can alter the timing of fish migration and reproduction, and could speed up fish metabolism, resulting in their bodies taking up more mercury. (Mercury pollution, from the burning of fossil fuels, ends up in the ocean and builds up in marine creatures.) When humans eat fish, they ingest the mercury, which can have toxic effects on human health.

Higher water temperatures increase the incidence of pathogens and of marine diseases in species such as oysters, salmon and abalone. Vibrio bacteria, which can contaminate shellfish and, when ingested by humans, cause diarrhea, fever and liver disease, are more prevalent when sea surface temperatures rise, too.

In addition to heating up, the ocean has taken up almost a third of the carbon dioxide that humans have generated, which has changed its chemistry. Seawater is now 30 percent more acidic than it was during the Industrial Revolution.

As ocean acidity increases, there are fewer carbonate ions in the ocean for the marine species that need calcium carbonate to build their shells and skeletons. Some shellfish, such as mussels and pterapods (tiny marine snails at the base of the food chain) are already beginning to create thinner shells, leaving them more vulnerable to predators. Ocean acidification can also interfere with the development of fish larvae and disrupt the sense of smell fish rely on to find food, habitats and avoid predators. In addition, It disturbs the ecosystems that marine life depends upon.

According to research being done at Columbia’s Center for Climate and Life, ocean warming and acidification may end up restructuring microbial communities in the ocean. Because these sensitive microbes are the basis for the global food chain, what happens to them could have unforeseen and huge impacts on our food supplies.

Sea level rise

Some experts predict that sea levels could rise one meter by 2100 due to melting polar ice caps and glaciers. In Asia, where much of the rice is grown in coastal areas and low-lying deltas, rising seas will likely disrupt rice production, and saltwater that moves further inland could reduce yields.

Aquaculture of fresh water species is also affected by sea level rise as saltwater can move upstream in rivers. For example, in the Mekong Delta and Irawaddy region of Vietnam and Myanmar, the booming catfish aquaculture could be affected by saltwater intrusion. If this occurs, fish farms would have to be moved further upstream because catfish have little tolerance for saline conditions.

Who will feel the effects?

Climate change will not only affect food production and consumers; as optimal growing conditions shift with the climate, communities that depend on fishing or farming for their livelihoods will be disrupted.

Some higher latitude areas may benefit and become more productive, but if emissions continue to rise, the outlook for food production from 2050 to 2100 is not good. Wealthy nations and temperate regions will probably be able to withstand most of the impacts, whereas tropical regions and poor populations will face the most risks. Children, pregnant women, the elderly, low-income communities and those with weakened immune systems or chronic medical conditions will be most susceptible to the changes in food access, safety and nutrition.

In addition, because food is a globally traded commodity today, climate events in one region could raise prices and cause shortages across the globe. Starting in 2006, drought in major wheat producing countries was a key factor in a dramatic spike in food prices. Many countries experienced food riots and political unrest.

How science can help head off impacts

“Food security is going to be one of the most pressing climate-related issues, mainly because most of the world is relatively poor and food is going to become increasingly scarce and expensive,” said de Menocal. “So what kind of solutions can science provide to help?”

Of course, the best way to reduce these risks to our food supply is to implement policies to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Earth Institute researchers, however, are working on some ambitious and potentially far-reaching projects to reduce risks to the food system.

Columbia’s International Research Institute for Climate and Society is leading a project called Adapting Agriculture to Climate Today, for Tomorrow, or ACToday. Part of Columbia World Projects, ACToday will help to maximize food production and reduce crop losses by more precisely predicting and managing flood and drought risk, improving financial practices, and, when a food crisis unfolds, identifying the need for relief efforts earlier. The project introduces state-of-the-art climate information and prediction tools in six countries: Ethiopia, Senegal, Colombia, Guatemala, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

In case of a significant disruption in the global food system, there is no agency within the U.S. government whose responsibility it is to take charge, said Puma. His focus has been on trying to understand potential disruptions, which could be related to extreme weather, the power grid, conflict, or other factors. “We want to understand the food system in greater depth so we can identify vulnerabilities and adjust the system to deal with those,” he said. Working with colleagues at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany, he is building quantitative economic models to examine vulnerabilities in the food system under different scenarios; they will use the tool to explore how altering certain policies might reduce the vulnerabilities of the food system to disruptions.

The Center for Climate and Life is putting its efforts into building bridges between the business community and the science community in New York, to help clarify for investors the financial risks and opportunities of climate change. Large investment firms with long-term views have trillions of dollars in assets that could be jeopardized by climate change. De Menocal believes more intelligent investment strategies can be pursued with a science-based approach. “If you engage the largest deployments of money on the planet, that’s what’s going to shape behavior,” he said. “If we can educate them about how climate change will impact things that matter to people, then they can act on that knowledge in advance of these things happening.”

Panpsychism - Hard problem of consciousness and the Nature of Consciousness

Life never ends in past or future there is always a meaning for something sometime!
Like Yin and Yang, duality forming a whole? Aren't we all one in this life after all!
Out of the odds of it all through space and time in our vast self-aware universe under
the sun here as we all are together!

~~~~~Panpsychism
Etymology - The term "panpsychism" has its origins with the Greek term pan (πᾶν : "all, everything, whole") and psyche (ψυχή: "soul, mind") as the unifying center of the mental life of us humans and other living creatures." Psyche comes from the Greek word ψύχω (psukhō, "I blow") and can mean life, soul, mind, spirit, heart and 'life-breath'. The use of psyche is controversial due to it being synonymous with soul, a term usually taken to have some sort of supernatural quality; more common terms now found in the literature include mind, mental properties, mental aspect, and experience.
The recent interest in the hard problem of consciousness has revived interest in panpsychism.
~~~~~Hard problem of consciousness
The hard problem of consciousness is the problem of explaining how and why sentient organisms have qualia or phenomenal experiences—how and why it is that some internal states are felt states, such as heat or pain, rather than unfelt states, as in a thermostat or a toaster. The philosopher David Chalmers, who introduced the term "hard problem" of consciousness, contrasts this with the "easy problems" of explaining the ability to discriminate, integrate information, report mental states, focus attention, etc. Easy problems are easy because all that is required for their solution is to specify a mechanism that can perform the function. That is, their proposed solutions, regardless of how complex or poorly understood they may be, can be entirely consistent with the modern materialistic conception of natural phenomena. Chalmers claims that the problem of experience is distinct from this set and that the problem of experience will "persist even when the performance of all the relevant functions is explained".

~~~~~Panpsychism and the Nature of Consciousness
What is consciousness? Why does it even exist? It has long been treated as the byproduct of biological complexity. The more complicated the brain, the more self-aware. Other thinkers have seen consciousness as totally distinct from the body — dualism.  But maybe consciousness, like space and time, mass and energy, is just a basic characteristic of the universe. Maybe it's a fundamental property of matter. Welcome to the concept of "panpsychism".
It's a radical-sounding idea and it could prove vital for us in radically rethinking how we think about reality itself.
It's been said that the only thing we know for certain is our own experience. But how do we account for this most subjective phenomenon within the science of consciousness? How can science with its objective metrics even begin to engage with the felt nature of the inner subjective life?
~~~~~Panpsychism: The Science and Philosophy of an Intelligent Universal Mind
Move over survival of the fittest. Step aside gradual evolution through adaptability and random mutations.  There is a new player on the scientific/philosophical block. It is called ‘Panpsychism’ , and it threatens to challenge absolutely everything currently known about what the universe is and how it works. On the simplest level, Panpsychism makes the astounding claim that the universe, rather than being a sterile backdrop in which materialistic ‘stuff’ evolves and develops, is instead a web of consciousness that brought about everything that is. This way of thinking is nothing new for those who follow metaphysics and some ancient religious systems. The idea of an Akashic Field has been around for millennia. But for scientists, operating within the parameters of mathematics and the scientific method, to give such a theory a name and subject it to peer reviewed papers, is a breakthrough. What Panpsychism says is that the universe itself may be self-aware.

Metaphysics meets Science
Zen masters for thousands of years have said that all is one, but to give this concept official sounding labels such as ‘entanglement’ and ‘proto-consciousness fields’ is quite shocking. It means that lines of inquiry which have traditionally moved along two separate roads, called metaphysics and science, may have now merged into one superhighway.

Christof Koch, of the Allen Institute for Brain Science, a Seattle-based, independent, nonprofit medical research organization dedicated to accelerating the understanding of how the human  brain works, has been designing experiments which define consciousness. His results indicate that biological organisms are conscious if they are capable of changing their behavior when confronted by new situations. But if a system is able to act upon its own state and, in effect, determine its own fate, it is conscious even if it is not biological or organic.

Don't Look Back my Philosophy with my 1990 Nissan 240sx

Way back in the 90's I had a 1990 Nissan 240sx along with a "HotShot" air pipe, "K&N" filter, "JET" ECU chip, "Centralforce" clutch after I blew up my stock clutch, NGK V-Power spark plugs with ground bent back for better combustion, Magnaflow exhaust with resonator taken out with a resonated tip put on angled upward single DTM legal at the time. Non synthetic oil being it was a truck type engine cast Iron it needed sticky oil for Torque. Readjusted throttle plate to be wide open grinding away some of the stop tab. Wide open it sounded like a McLaren F1 and throttle closed it sounded like a Ferrari at RPM governor it sounded like a doberman barking so it was tight.

It took me a while before I figured it out how to take out the speed governor with a timer set to 110 MPH so the cars ECU only read 110 MPH thinking the clutch was slipping so the governor would not kick in at 117 MPH. So with math I found out the top speed with tire size engine RPM etc. It was 156 mph. Many times I could start in 2 gear then go into 4th gear then 5th it could do that.

Top Speed in gears by gear ratio in Mph
1 - 35 @ 6400 Rpm
2 - 62 @ 6400 Rpm
3 - 90 @ 6400 Rpm
4 - 118 @ 6400 Rpm
5 - 117 @ 4800 Rpm Governed
5 - 156 if @ 6400 Rpm

My Philosophy? Driving in traffic I never really looked behind me driving my car.
So I was running on "Don't look back!"

Tulsa in the 90's was bad at the time for driving. It was to the point I figured it out.
To keeping people from tailgating me I would pull out in traffic taking my car to 75 MPH
then go back to 35 MPH. Yes they would be up with me till 65 MPH before I got ahead.

I lost many cops without knowing it! At the time many got chased in the next town over. The rednecks where racing the "JapCrap" cars. We all where kicking their ass at the time. It was till the point us hanging out at the convenience store the Sheriff stopped over to tell us "Stop racing the rednecks your giving them mental problems." We got out of there!

So with me being used to people racing my car I was going back and forth the Dallas at the time and every time somewhere between Oklahoma City and Dallas there was some one on my ass, so I hit it not looking back because I was up there and by the time I looked behind me they where gone. It was happening so much it was really bugging me. I would be enjoying the ride of the road bouncing with the beat of the radio mariachi music playing when here comes another ass!

I was in college at the time and I was bugged and told the group I hang out with "Why are these people racing me?" LOL! I have a history of being chased so what I said was funny. A guy heard me and he said those are cops wondering where and so I told him telling me small towns don't have the money for real police cars they use their own cars out there. Why? Cops can't drive unmarked cars they are fishing they are not targeting a specific criminal. So we and my friend went to the library and he showed me the law book on it. I said it is withholding my rights it's entrapment, all the time my friend was LOL! Then the guy asked what kind of car is it a black Nissan, they might have a photo of a black Nissan on the wall of the police department. My friend was on the floor at that point. Funny for the times not knowing!

So I didn't look back was because I never did back then with that car.

Lack Of Communication - More to communication than just honesty.

It's always worth it to be open. More when you are older. If your 50+ then you have 20 - to go in life before you hit 70! Being older those old issues of when you where 40 has less meaning now! As the right to take your lover, other, work husband home for that talk... If it makes you better making all better by a better foundation it's worth it! Well it should be talked about before but you know what I am saying. Like that time in your life where you are the grandma now stopping to say hi every time you see another person you don't know with a baby.

Life changing events are always good! Like what my college instructor said about a morning after it's like being hit in the head like a ton of gold. Said before he confessed in class having a "inappropriate relationship" with a student in class. To us it was appropriate because it was gold to them. We where ok with it as long we got something out of the class and what he said was worth the price of the class anyway. But the part "Life changing events" is pressing when you have less time in life. Life is short what are you missing? No time for a lack of communication!

~~~~~Communication is tougher than you think!
Honesty is to communication what multiplication is to calculus. If you can’t be honest, you can’t communicate. Honesty is the minimum, not the maximum; there is more to communication than just honesty. –Jenna Medaris
“Communication is rule #1 of a polyamorous relationship.”
It’s something you’ll hear in the poly community so often it’s become a mantra. And rightly so; communication is arguably the single best indicator of the health of any romantic relationship, monogamous or polyamorous. A relationship that lacks good communication is built on a foundation that’s fundamentally flawed, and a relationship whose members lack good communication skills is a relationship that has problems from the very beginning.
Few people really talks about how to build good communication, though, and that’s unfortunate, because good communication is trickier than it sounds. (I’ve already written an essay about the ways communication can go wrong in my journal; this is more of a practical guide.)
There’s more to communication than opening your mouth and saying what’s on your mind. Effective communication starts with understanding what’s on your mind, particularly if you’re trying to solve a problem. It’s not just enough to say “I feel uncomfortable about this” or “I’m feeling upset about that” or “I don’t want you to do this;” real communication requires understanding what’s at the root of those feelings and desires.
Methane from Arctic permafrost - Microbes Unknown
With global warming there is nothing but bad from it. Microbes breaking down the permafrost and it is still unknown about the Microbes and bad that is trapped in the permafrost.
~~~~~Permafrost is ground that is frozen year-round. In the Arctic, ice-rich permafrost soils can be up to 260 feet (80 meters) thick. Due to human-caused warming of the atmosphere from greenhouse gas emissions, a gradual thawing of the permafrost is currently taking place where the upper layer of seasonally thawed soil is gradually getting thicker and reaching deeper into the ground. This process wakes up microbes in the soil that decompose soil organic matter and as a result release carbon dioxide and methane back into the atmosphere. This gradual thaw process is accounted for in climate models and is thought to have minimal effect as thawed ground also stimulates the growth of plants, which counterbalance the carbon released into the atmosphere by consuming it during photosynthesis.

~~~~~Long-dormant bacteria and viruses, trapped in ice and permafrost for centuries, are reviving as Earth's climate warms. Throughout history, humans have existed side-by-side with bacteria and viruses. From the bubonic plague to smallpox, we have evolved to resist them, and in response they have developed new ways of infecting us.
We have had antibiotics for almost a century, ever since Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin. In response, bacteria have responded by evolving antibiotic resistance. The battle is endless: because we spend so much time with pathogens, we sometimes develop a kind of natural stalemate.
However, what would happen if we were suddenly exposed to deadly bacteria and viruses that have been absent for thousands of years, or that we have never met before?
http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20170504-there-are-diseases-hidden-in-ice-and-they-are-waking-up
Warmer waters are bad anyway. With warmer temps comes more dangers!
And they are getting warm.
~~~~~Heatwaves sweeping oceans ‘like wildfires’, scientists reveal
The number of heatwaves affecting the planet’s oceans has increased sharply, scientists have revealed, killing swathes of sea-life like “wildfires that take out huge areas of forest”.

The damage caused in these hotspots is also harmful for humanity, which relies on the oceans for oxygen, food, storm protection and the removal of climate-warming carbon dioxide the atmosphere, they say.

Global warming is gradually increasing the average temperature of the oceans, but the new research is the first systematic global analysis of ocean heatwaves, when temperatures reach extremes for five days or more.
