Marriage is a recent thing life existed without it before. Being older you know about your lifespan if you're 60 you probably got 10 years to go. The saying you'll find love in good time but you will have Alzheimer's by then so you probably won't even know each other. But the only institution in Iran strong enough to succeed them is the army, the Revolutionary Guards in particular. Would that be an improvement for the U.S.? It depends on what their attitude was.
