Low is low, it's not sustainable to expect a growing labor force ready for the future with job skill training for the job living in box in the woods in the winter. What are their retirement going to look like in the future what jobs do they have now, working low while being homeless! Notes something has to go up as the cut government spending thinking only makes everything bad for all. It's burnt and is time to grow!
Burn and grow something has to be fixed sometime. There was a lady I talked to in a store once. I was interested in her but my time poverty etc put me not being able to hangout with her. Said her daughter lived in Houston TX and her rent jumped so much she moved back in with them in another state. Much the same in life like the time I was only living on 21% of my income rent, car payment insurance etc added up the rest! I also unplugged the refrigerator to save money also. But now is worse than that! Much like making rural wages but living in a urban city not able to afford much moving in with your parents to save money making no record of your being no internet, water bill nothing in your name like sweeping cash under the rug so really you are homeless because you don't have a place of your own! Life today! Not sure what that does to your credit report dropping of the earth like that. Takes money to have credit you have to buy something!
~~~~A recent report the Department of Housing and Urban Development prepared for Congress confirms what so many of us see or experience in our communities: The number of people without homes has reached record levels. According to that report, the 2023 “Point-in-Time (PIT) count” showed the highest number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night since reporting began in 2007. Since last year, the number of people experiencing homelessness increased by 12%. A full 40% of people experiencing homelessness were unsheltered, living “in places not meant for human habitation.”
Like what I learned in college. "Feel free to make a contribution to society, any help is wanted especially if it's not wanted what a gift to humanity that is!"
"Oahspe emphasized service to others; each person is graded according to service to others. Each individual, group and nation is either in ascension or descension; sooner or later, all ascend, rising in grade. The higher one's grade, the better are the conditions within one's own soul, and the better the place awaiting one in heaven."
This is a tribute to my college friend that passed away recently. He was an ESL teacher in Korea along with tutoring here in the states. He also wrote some short stories along with being into SIFI. I spent a lot of time with him in college. He had a hard time with his health etc. The afterlife would fascinate him would seem as a better place! Immersion!
Every plague has a rebound. "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." The things going on today is nothing new. That light comes on sometime. Peasants were the first ones to die in a plague so it's best to not be a peasant. "Peasants were the poorest people in the medieval era and lived primarily in the country or small villages. Serfs were the poorest of the peasant class, and were a type of slave. Lords owned the serfs who lived on their lands." Time to get brought up!
~~~~Plagues Precede Rebirths: Chaos Precedes Order (and Chaos again)
The bubonic plague or “The Black Death” of 1347 to 1351 was one of the deadliest epidemics in human history. The disease killed an estimated 75 million people, including up to 50% of the European populations affected. It was called the Black Death because of the black spots the bubonic form of the plague caused on the skin.
The plague, which was almost always fatal, spread most rapidly in cities, where people were in close contact with each other. To avoid the disease, those wealthy enough to leave the city fled to the country. Due to the sudden shortage of labour, innovations in production methods and farming took place. This is reminiscent of the current pandemic, in the absence of physical presence, innovations and acceleration of digitisation has swept through numerous industries. Digital connectivity (Zoom), online shopping (Amazon) and logistics (drone delivery: Manna Aero) have all benefited from the shift in the tectonic plates of disruption.
Of course, the Black Death, like Covid-19 was only part of the chaos of that period. The crisis of the late Middle Ages was a series of disasters in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries beginning with the great famine, including climactic upheavals of warm periods and mini ice ages and war and political instabilities and religious upheavals.
If the Black Death was a symbol of the chaos of that period, it was followed by one of the most magnificent times in human history. The Renaissance marked a transition from the Middle Ages to a time of great social change. The word Renaissance is a French word that means Rebirth. Sometimes, the systems that prevailed needed to self destruct to be reborn and this is what appeared to have happened then and perhaps now. As Picasso said, “Every act of creation begins with an act of destruction.” This creative destruction must be accompanies by a shift in consciousness, from one of competition to one of collaboration. This is what happened during the Renaissance, what our guest on the Innovation show, John Rogers, the author of “The Renaissance Campaign” calls mixed tables. https://theinnovationshow.io/plagues-precede-rebirths-chaos-precedes-order-and-chaos-again
~~~~How the Black Death made life better
In its entry on the Black Death, the 1347–50 outbreak of bubonic plague that killed at least a third of Europe’s population, this chronicle from the English city of Rochester includes among its harrowing details a seemingly trivial lament: Aristocrats and high clergymen not only had to pay triple wages to those toiling in their fields, but, even worse, they themselves had to perform manual labor. Curiously, the documentary record, which provides ample evidence that workers did demand and receive higher wages (on which more below), contains in contrast scant evidence that “worthies” ever dirtied their hands with fieldwork. Even if (or especially as) phantasms, however, these sickle-wielding lords reveal the importance of imagined possibilities in shaping pandemic responses.
The eminent refused to take on menial roles, not because they could not perform these “unskilled” tasks, but because to do so would be unworthy of their social rank, and it was unthinkable to abandon that social and labor hierarchy. Farm work was peasant work, whether performed by serfs bound to a particular manor, tenant farmers or wage laborers hired by the year or the season. But the staggering mortality of the Black Death reduced this previously sufficient peasant population sharply enough to create a severe labor shortage.
What happened next has been the subject of an enormous amount of scholarship, particularly in the case of England, where the large extant body of sources such as chronicles, legislation, court cases and manorial account books provides rich material for studying the social and economic changes in the wake of the Black Death. Scholars disagree about how and how much things changed, but they share a tendency to describe these changes in oddly passive terms: wages rose, inequality decreased, feudalism ended.
Yet there was a great deal of deliberate (in)action behind these developments. Rather than supply some of the needed labor themselves, landowners turned to solutions that might produce the kind of world they were capable of imagining. In England they created first the Ordinance (1349) and then the Statute (1351) of Labourers, which froze wages at pre-plague levels, compelled workers not otherwise engaged in fixed, long-term employment into year-long contracts with the first employer who demanded it, and established penalties to ensure compliance. As Jane Whittle has noted, in putting their efforts behind the control of waged labor rather than the retrenchment of (already declining) serfdom, rural landowners sought a “thinkable” resolution to this impasse: They would use the existing market for labor, but control the terms of exchange.
Many peasants, however, refused to play their assigned role of deferential wage earner. Court records from 1352, for example, show that “Edward le Taillour of Wootton, employee of the prior and convent of Bradenstoke … left his employment before the feast of St Nicholas [6 December] without permission or reasonable cause, contrary to statute,” and that John Death of Wroughton demanded an “excess” of six shillings eightpence for reaping John Lovel’s corn. Recalcitrant laborers remained a problem in 1374, when “John Fisshere, William Theker, William Furnes, John Dyker, Gilbert Chyld, Alan Tasker, Stephen Lang, John Hardlad, Cecilia Ka, Joan daughter of Henry Couper, Matillis de Ely, Alice wife of Simon Souter, all of Bardney, labourers, refused to work [for the Abbot of Bardney at the stipulated wages], and on the same day they left the town to get higher wages elsewhere, in contempt of the king and contrary to statute.” https://history.wustl.edu/news/how-black-death-made-life-better
No one is a island! In such romanticism it's best said as It's ok to be the parmesan added to a married woman's hot, hot spaghetti, to just melt together makes something great! In other words making a better place in polyamory for those involved. It's ok for a married woman to have a lover. Keep in mind it's not only about sex more like he is there to give her calm and be a vent for her, she may not have otherwise, all around better things to make her better!
I had a married love that would come over to see me when her and husband had a fight. I listened to her, just snuggled and in time calmed her down getting her out of my place a stable woman. She liked it when I genteelly put my hand on her back and pushed her out my door to go back to her husband. Then I would look at her walking down the walkway inflated in a better place. And is the point of Polyamory!
In a dating crisis whereist women doing better don't date down because of the conflict it causes if she can't get him into college to get him brought up to her level. Global warming threats, time poverty from work. Or just mixed match of bad!
Anyway you see it most lifespans are 75ish! If you are over 50 you know you only have 20 years to go. The "You will find love in good time" is just not real thinking. Being 75ish in a time sometime when people start migrating to a cooler climate fighting for housing, jobs, food and being 75ish trying to compete with everyone, not even to say about the high CO2 and heart stress. I know I won't make that being 75 in that time! https://www.cnn.com/videos/business/2023/08/25/urban-heat-island-effect-drones-contd-orig-nb.cnn
So as for dating, a relationship is just what you make it. No need for marriage, open for Polyamory, Cicisbeo, Lovers to make a better life for both, it's just what both agree to do. Live now! I'll take the highway not the dirt road so I don't show up with workers comp to the finish line!
This is a time for action than to play in dating. No time for that!
~~~~~The truth of life expectancy in America is that places with comparable profiles similar advantages and similar problems have widely different average life outcomes depending on what part of the country they belong to.
“We don’t have these differences in health outcomes because of individual behaviors, it’s related to the policy environments people are living in,” says Jeanne Ayers, who was Wisconsin’s top public health official during the Covid pandemic and is now executive director of Healthy Democracy Healthy People, a collaboration of 11 national public health agencies probing the links between political participation and health. “Your health is only 10 percent influenced by the medical environment and maybe 20 or 30 percent in behavioral choices. The social and political determinants of health are overwhelmingly what you’re seeing in these maps.” https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/09/01/america-life-expectancy-regions-00113369
Polyamory is what you make it. "An umbrella term for various forms of non-monogamous, multi-partner relationships, or non-exclusive sexual or romantic relationships." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyamory
It's just what is good for each person and each other in the goal to make it mostly these times with threats to society in everything! Like in view of the-Cipolla Matrix, Win, Win = intelligence!
An umbrella term? It is what you make to be. No cheating just a openness to each others needs hopes and dreams for the better of all. What does everyone need why are we here. Polyamory is not formal in a goal of marriage. You can love more than one and fit the relationships like a puzzle piece goal long-term being the work, bonding and everything.
Not really like a marriage you make it what you want. It could be like a marriage, A misteress, a male paramour, cicisbeo or play buddy just an umbrella for what you want. A relationship is a ship, it has many people keeping things together in the storms of life today. And a umbrella term also keeps you out of the rain. A good lover is a umbrella to keep around long term aimed!
Polyamory is power in numbers in that is a good thing in these times. Like in a dating crisis, it would be better to accept than to not accept each other. Being in the masses at least more than one is a better place. It's like sort of being in a bank of people in a time like the end of the world to pull each other up.
~~~~Polyamory is the practice of having or being open to multiple romantic relationships with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. Polyamory is founded on the belief that love is not finite and that connecting deeply with others should not be restricted to a single partner with whom we can explore emotionally and physically intimate relationships.
Polyamorous relationship structures are diverse. Unlike monogamy, which has a clear “relationship escalator” that typically includes dating, monogamy, cohabitation, and marriage, polyamory can look very different for different people.
These are a few basic examples of what a polyamorous relationship could look like. The options for polyamory are diverse and complex. Relationships often evolve over time based on partners’ self-exploration and a practice of deeply connecting and honestly communicating with one another. https://www.choosingtherapy.com/polyamory
Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs being Self-actualization pushes and brings people up for a better society but no is more like co-dependency for many now sort of a job skills gap for America!
No self-actualization is no education for the future changes in the workplace. No retirement and etc. An all around of unfulfilled everything for all of society!
In life it's better to accept everyone's nature. Polyandry? Me I prefer polyandry being the two men accepting each other for her is a better option vs the caveman mentality of her being property of the caveman male like dragging her by her hair with a club. In that no one wants to be ones slave in life.
Balance is balance for all. If not then it is unbalanced and does not work. Note for all, you can love more that one! In that is better than not! "Better to Have Loved and Lost than Never to Have Loved at All." Is life but more in Polyamory "No man is a island." a point of a making a better place for all because life happens!
I used some of those spirit box apps. When I used them they mostly talked about getting food to eat. Well if you are dead that would be non linear so past and future dead would be in the same place! Global warming threat of no food to eat could be the point. Anyway if you are looking for god and wants to get in your head or get into others head or asks for a ship then you might want to think about things!
My view is that if you did not go to heaven then... Sort of like not being graduated from college, dropped out low IQ. What was the education from a person that died in their time vs today or future. All societies get brought up in time. Just what time!
Being it's just too hot to be out like in the 100's and so it's best to not put yourself out in the sun putting tea and coffee seems the best option to spend less time out in the sun for a tan.
Me, I get the body soap with olive oil putting it in a dish getting it hot then I put in 12 to 24 black tea bags in it along with all of those instant dark coffee packages in the little box. When cool I use the body soap but I leave it on me for like 15 minutes or until it dries on me. Then I do it again but not more that twice as it dry too much! Listen to your body don't get too dry! https://www.bustle.com/articles/150142-i-tried-self-tanning-with-coffee-grounds-heres-what-happened
~~~~A longtime grant writer has shared with legislative leaders on both sides of the aisle claims that State Superintendent Ryan Walters lied to them at a recent public hearing and concerns that current and future federal grant funding for Oklahoma public school students is in jeopardy.
Rep. Melissa Provenzano, D-Tulsa, expressed concern that Walters, who has centered his administration on culture wars, will not apply for grants related to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts or those that could benefit LGBTQ students. Walters has railed against diversity initiatives in schools and taken aim at school library books that include LGBTQ issues.
“We are very diverse, and I can’t allow myself to think that we’re not going to apply for grants simply because of (political) buzzwords or because they would benefit people that look different or believe different things than our superintendent,” Provenzano said. “That would be unethical not to support everyone with these federal dollars.”
In the 80's my mom used to make us tortilla pizzas. She would put milk on the tortilla then all the pizza stuff in the oven for a few. Turns out good and not costly! And so from the 80's! When I dated a lady with 5 kids I told her how to make them it blew her kids minds at the time. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/258013/easy-tortilla-pizza
~~~~A chevron points toward the opposite end of the flag, a symbol of growth and progress, and sits asymmetrically on the flag to reflect the non-traditional style of polyamorous relationships. The heart within reminds us that love in all forms is the core of non-monogamy.
The chevron's white represents possibility—the blank canvas upon which every non-monogamous person creates and develops their individual relationships. possibility also signals hope for the future of the polyamorous and non-monogamous community.
Magenta stands for desire, love, and attraction. Slightly shifted from the red in the original flag, this design's magenta includes the addition of desire, which in many cases can be experienced without love nor attraction. Throughout the non-monogamous community, desire, love, & attraction push beyond the mono- and amato-normative paradigms of sexual and romantic love.
This flag and this community include, acknowledge, and fiercely advocate for a breadth of love and relationship styles and identities—the asexual spectrum & aromantic spectrum, as well as queerplatonic, tertiary, and otherwise alterous relationships absolutely among them.
Blue stands for openness and honesty, just like in the original Pi flag. Openness and honesty are core values in healthy relationships. We strive to be open and honest with our partners as well as with ourselves.
Separately from our relationships, many in our community don’t have the privilege to practice their non-monogamy openly. For now, we can only hope and work toward a safer and more welcoming future where every one of us can be open and honest about their polyamorous practice, identity, or orientation.
Gold represents the energy and perseverance of those in the non-monogamous community.
Perseverance is courageous action in the face of adversity. This might look like persevering in your freedom to have multiple relationships. It may also include standing firm in who you are against cultural structures which oppress and suppress your right to live and love as you see fit.
On a community level, this encourages us to continue pushing toward more widespread awareness, understanding, and protection for polyamorous people and families.
Purple represents a united non-monogamous community. Today's non-monogamous community includes and was preceded by People of the Global Majority—Black, Brown, Indigenous, and People of Color—whose cultural practices of non-monogamy were and have been historically unacknowledged, suppressed, ridiculed, or erased.
A united non-monogamous community is one which honors, includes, and empowers all forms of and approaches to consensual non-monogamy. It actively champions and holds space in abundance for the people of diverse intersectional races, ethnicities, sexualities, and genders who share in the non-monogamous experience.
This is a warning on LGBT rights, the point of pushing a resolve on the point LGBT don't reproduce well with humanity on a reproductive decline I can see more rights being taken away with the view in a crises of it being better for humanity to have kids and put away LGBT to save people from a decline.
But really the issue is a education divide with women vs men. American women with a Masters degree don't like to date dishwashers because of the view of incompatibility he would have like a redneck rural kid in college always having his hand in the air wasting class time other students money the spent for the class asking the professor what, what, what I don't understand! Forcing the woman to say isn't it about time you left my class! For a woman up in a better state to lower herself to a dishwasher having to not correct the male because she knows better causes the woman mental illness! It's a decline where the men should go up to her level! Social mobility is not a decline! Also time poverty, income is a factor! https://www.lifehack.org/932410/too-busy-to-date
What place in the Galaxy does it have for you? When I was 7ish a homeless person gave me LSD and I tripped. The trip was more important than being in the world because I got to meet the machine elves. They are teachers that throw things at you. Each time you learn a point from it. Like I remember seeing the execution of Nguyen Van Lem with the statement "Things happen for a reason." Mostly saw flashes with a quote said with it. But I remember that one. When I came back on the planet, I was down, I wanted to go back! The point "What place in the Galaxy? = Things happen for a reason!
As I say a lot nature doesn't care otherwise ask why did you put yourself in that position in the first place? There is a future coming if you are in the world of fake news do you know what is real? Not knowing puts you in a lack of reality, illness! Not such a good thing willing to die among the fools in the heat seems as it is, low self-esteem? Just the light to not bring brought up!
~~~~Ability to Cope
Different groups have different abilities to cope with climate change impacts.
People who live in poverty may have a difficult time coping with changes. These people have limited financial resources to cope with heat, relocate or evacuate, or respond to increases in the cost of food.
Older adults may be among the least able to cope with impacts of climate change.
Elderly person with facial hair wiping his brow, presumably in heat distress
Elderly people are particularly prone to heat stress. Source: CDC (2009)
Older residents make up a larger share of the population in warmer areas of the United States. These areas will likely experience higher temperatures, tropical storms, or extended droughts in the future.
The share of the U.S. population composed of adults over age 65 is also projected to grow from 13% in 2010 to 20% by 2050.
Young children are another sensitive age group, since their immune system and other bodily systems are still developing and they rely on others to care for them in disaster situations.

Did you know your brain can sensor things it doesn't like and worse shut mostly down to a road of illness if bad.
"Suppression is the voluntary form of repression proposed by Sigmund Freud in 1892. It is the conscious process of pushing unwanted, anxiety-provoking thoughts, memories, emotions, fantasies and desires out of awareness. Suppression is more amenable to controlled experiments than is repression, the unconscious process of excluding painful memories, thoughts and impulses from consciousness."
"A different form of suppression, known as visual perceptual suppression, occurs when an object or part of one is not consciously seen even though the image is always clearly visible. A common example is the bistable figure, such as the drawing of the cube, the vase-face or the duck-rabbit in the triptych illustration above. The eyes see the same lines and shapes on the page, but what you consciously see in your head changes from the duck to the rabbit and back again. When the image of the duck is being consciously seen in your mind’s eye, the image of the rabbit is “suppressed,” and vice versa." https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/neuroscience-meets-psychoanalysis
When I was in middle school after time in the Gym we took showers. Well kids are nasty after playing dodge ball etc I would be burned out, sweaty, greasy so I would get in the shower to clean the nasty off of me. I knew I was not nasty like this before puberty so I would be in the shower getting it off of me asking why. In the shower I looked over at another boy and noticed a blackspot on his crouch. I realized I censored that like I didn't know why but was like wow did I just do that? I didn't want to see another kids wiener so the image of the wiener was suppressed because my defense mechanism my brain said that is not me I know who I am!
I also changed my major many times in college. I never limited my education, "Multiple intelligences refers to a theory describing the different ways students learn and acquire information." So one subject overlaps with the others. I took many classes that related as I saw it. I jumped into Psychology because of my girlfriends incident she had with her boyfriend and her mom when she was in high school. Her boyfriend didn't pick her up at the High school so she walked home only to get home where she heard a bang bang noise that at the time she thought it was like water pipes banging around leaking. So she ran to the washer and it was ok. The noise was coming from her moms bedroom so she opened the door only so see her mom and her boyfriend going at it in a bad place. Her mom was high a lot at the time her boyfriend asked her mom if he could have a piece of her "hash" so she said ok bending over to get it out of the drawer and...
That was the last thing my girlfriend remembered her brain blacked out till she came back in a fetal position at her sisters middle school not knowing how she got there. She walked all the way there. We acknowledged the danger of what if she had a car at the time driving blacked out! Bad things but she had to deal with the mental issues of that. She was lucky she blacked out sometimes the brain will make another personality to firewall the issue like a child that does not talk to be between both personalities kind of things!
As it's said with men it's mind to privates and women privates to mind. Well sort of, just how hormonal balance is vital in a woman's system, metabolism. Really everyone anyway.
~~~~Women have a higher proportion of body fat compared to men. However, women consume fewer kilojoules per kilogram lean mass and burn fat more preferentially during exercise compared with men. During gestation, women store even greater amounts of fat that cannot be solely attributed to increased energy intake. These observations suggest that the relationship between kilojoules consumed and kilojoules utilised is different in men and women. The reason for these sex differences in energy metabolism is not known; however, it may relate to sex steroids, differences in insulin resistance, or metabolic effects of other hormones such as leptin. When considering lifestyle modifications, sex differences in energy metabolism should be considered. Moreover, elucidating the regulatory role of hormones in energy homeostasis is important for understanding the pathogenesis of obesity and perhaps in the future may lead to ways to reduce body fat with less energy restriction. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3136178
~~~~Estrogens are a group of hormones that play an important role in the normal sexual and reproductive development in women. They are also sex hormones. The woman's ovaries make most estrogen hormones, although the adrenal glands and fat cells also make small amounts of the hormones.
In addition to regulating the menstrual cycle, estrogen affects the reproductive tract, the urinary tract, the heart and blood vessels, bones, breasts, skin, hair, mucous membranes, pelvic muscles, and the brain. Secondary sexual characteristics, such as pubic and armpit hair, also start to grow when estrogen levels rise. Many organ systems, including the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, and the brain are affected by estrogen. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/estrogens-effects-on-the-female-body
Also beta carotene because it helps the mucous membranes. Vitamin D3 "Aging reduces vitamin D production in skin. There is a decrease in the concentration of 7-dehydrocholesterol in the epidermis in old compared with young individuals and a reduced response to UV light, resulting in a 50% decrease in the formation of previtamin D3." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3782116
The point of not neglecting keeping up with yourself!
As in the point of polyandry, open marriage or not like the wife's mistress a male equivalent etc. "A mistress is in a long-term relationship with a person who is married to someone else..." Those types are long term because of the work in such anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistress_(lover)
"Being financially supported, especially by a wealthy older woman, he is a "sugar baby", "kept man" or "toyboy." It's better to just respect her stature being her lover staying out of her way not at a cost to her! Those things are to make sure her lover is up to her level if there is a income divide needing a quality of life fix!
These days the rules of engagement for the wife's lover. She is not his and her husband is not his so he is hers! Being in such relationship sort of like the lover throwing his keys at her, throwing himself at her feet, I am yours do what you will! Well he is her's he can't tell her what to do so he has to accept her nature, being her's making a better nature!
The Libertine! "Finally, she meets the man who shares himself fully with her, appreciates her sexual daring and accepts her for whoever she is." The ending of the movie is where the beginning. "This scene involves Mimi's first sexual conquest and the most important, character-defining line in the entire movie is!" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Libertine_(1968_film)
"The tale varies in the telling, but the core of it is as follows: Aristotle advises his pupil Alexander to avoid Phyllis, the seductive mistress of his father, the king, but is himself captivated by her. She agrees to ride him, on condition that she play the role of dominatrix. Phyllis has secretly told Alexander what to expect, and he witnesses Phyllis proving that a woman's charms can overcome even the greatest philosopher's male intellect. Phyllis is also described as Alexander's mistress or possibly wife, rather than his father's." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllis_and_Aristotle
But anyway it is the point acceptance is not disgrace as life is short to not do so!
"Proving that a woman's charms can overcome even the greatest philosopher's male intellect." , "No, I Seduced You!"
The DuGBuG Database is not going to be updated every month. It is not going to be archived just will be worked on when available. The time poverty of life, don't have time to work on it like did from the 90's. So I am going on to a new day. Working more on the other things here, and there! Time best spent making my contribution to society!
"I came up with the web site DuGBuG over 10 years ago in 1997 when I was 28 & working in a hotel as a banquet server in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I wanted my site to be useful with order & with free stuff." https://www.angelfire.com/me4/dugbugwap/home/index.html
In the 80's there was a time in high school when the girls where all mostly having their periods at the same time and the boys ended up going for the middle school girls. Where the high school rounded up all the boys that had young girlfriends to have a talk at the round table about finding girls our own age. Because the middle school prom was "Sad, sad prom!" We took most of the girls the middle school boys had none! That explains the generation of kids that where in college I seen come in obsessed with sex and etc! Lot's of issues going on!
But the point is the kids these days makes a bad tomorrow and it needs to be changed! Economically unattractive? Well Going to live with someone in a trailer park on fire in Missouri might have a low cost of living but doesn't mean they would like to live there! Low SES, low retirement, less buying power of the wages etc. The need to go up! https://www.human.cornell.edu/pam/spotlights/economically-unattractive
The point in Polyamory is for all to get brought up, for all to have a better life together. If not then that is not Polyamory! There is a time to have a secret affair but it's just better to just come out! If your partner doesn't seem to care about your needs treating you like their property I would see as co dependency in a way.
All should be Contributing to their society as all should be working to make life better for all. If there is one a stay home partner and the others works then they are only making half or less of their pay as the other half goes to cover the one not working, That's not social mobility more of a decline if long-term! And so is the point of Polyamory in these times to save each other by going up!
Another light to point for higher wages in rural towns, for one they shouldn't be living like that why are they not brought up yet. The future is coming along with it's risk being poor rural poor the switch to electric cars, lowering fuel use driving up the price, same as a oil crises. Can't afford a EV. Lower education not because they are lazy just that they can't afford a education. And etc, low is low in a time to go up! When was the last time they painted their homes points to peoples own health! Time to get brought up!
"Rural populations have an increased prevalence of cardiovascular disease compared to urban, and rural patients are more likely to be readmitted with HF exacerbations.6,7 Rural patients are also more likely to be uninsured, poor, and chronically ill.8,9 Disparities in morbidity and mortality between metropolitan and rural cardiovascular patients have increased in recent years.9 One proposed explanation is that rural populations have certain behaviors, attitudes, and access challenges that may contribute to their heightened risk of coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction and HF. These include poor adoption of lifestyle habits associated with decreasing heart disease, such as, smoking cessation, low-fat diets, exercise, and increased perception of heart disease risk, especially among older rural women.6,10 Additional factors include limited access to screening services and preventative care, reduced availability of technology and specialists to diagnose and treat heart disease, long travel distances to urban medical centers and limited access to cardiac rehabilitation services." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4241136
"Residents of rural areas in the United States tend to be older and sicker than their urban counterparts. They have higher rates of cigarette smoking, high blood pressure, and obesity. Rural residents report less leisure-time physical activity and lower seatbelt use than their urban counterparts. They also have higher rates of poverty, less access to healthcare, and are less likely to have health insurance." https://www.cdc.gov/ruralhealth/cause-of-death.html
Being the pay is that low getting what you pay for sort of ends up having to hire homeless people because they don't have to worry about not being able to pay the rent they don't have any! Many won't work the lower pay jobs seems like sadomasochism putting you and the whole family in a place of less. Child abuse for setting them up for failure! So go work at better pay! Move up the ladder so everyone lives better, retirement, family inheritance the point of social mobility in the family etc. That is the better option so.
The danger is the future coming. People not being able to afford education with risk to humanity automation in the workplace with no job skills, not able to afford a EV with fuel prices going up from less being made all the better off people are buying EV's. Being able to move to a better location because of global warming or competing with other countries in looking for a job, place to live or even food at Walmart because Walmart is now feeding all the countries that would be flooding in!
Those are the people at risk in that time. Not a lot of people are going to survive global warming living that low!
Back in 1989 I was with a married lady with five kids. The agreement was to save the family she made like $6 and he made $7 an hour. I had a good paying job at the time but was temporary so I threw the money at them. The job come easy the job goes easy so. She had five kids if you don't know Polyamory is not about only sex. That comes natural when it's time was ready! She did not want to have six kids! Sex was her decision to make not mine or her husbands. When she was ready and her husband was ready for her to fly away from the nest for a bit. "She's a god made woman with hormones." he said. She was the most nervous repeating "Your not my husband, your not my husband" But as she told me later she thought, "If I don't I never will" So she jumped on me. After she was like "It's nothing, it's nothing, I was worked up over nothing I feel better my stress is down you took the stress away from me!"
Anyway note, the rules of engagement "Rules!" With us she was not mine and I am not her husbands and so I was her's decision! Infact in the beginning her husband wanted a nice divorce but after her kids seen the proof of things getting better everything calmed down and her husband told me to don't leave her things would go back to how they where! The point to Polyamory is for things to get better. There is a acceptance for the better of the good!
Sex is not the point of being a married woman's boyfriend. Like just having coffee talking letting it out. The trust to be open like if talk was sex it would be intrusive, interpersonal, gross, like doing some lines of blow running into the woods in the light of the full moon naked but correct leaving the male in a fetal position begging to stay with her, long term. A good thing really! If you found it why leave! A married woman blushing belongs in the book of humanities as homer and the odyssey and so. Well if you are in love with a married woman there will be a compliance because of not wanting to leave her! And that is ok puts security in a relationship. A relationship, is a ship like with people on it, like crew on it to keep it afloat! Sex is like a Flower when it's ready to bloom! If it wants or not! Just follow the rules! Glad to be the lover of a married woman if wanted!
As it's said nothing really dies, whatever form ends then goes into other forms to go back into life again. In one form or another through space and time. I guess we all end up in the middle!
In these times facing burnout, threats to our futures in that if you are 50 you will only have 20 years to go with the looking environment.
Best resolve and why not is to have a torrid love affair. Well why fadeout in the light of humanity like a peasant in a corn field, just some worker that died so they buried them there and went on! A sad fate for humanity!
I've been a ladies play buddy before. Like a toy boy but I was 21 in college and she was 48. I'm in college with no money so she put $300 in my pocket telling me "This is not what you think it is." She was bringing me up to her level. She got me better things to wear and took me everywhere with her until I felt the pressure to go headfirst into college. She took me to my college and ended up breaking up with me by paying for the semester. That was ok, being her play buddy gave me security as I was a insecure kid a bit out of high school. She got value being wanted me by her side. Win, win!
Also in the 90's when I worked at a hotel there was a issue with a clients wife. After a fight with her and her husband she happened to see a co-worker (That has a tendency to have bad things happen to him.) She saw him and power walked up to him and said "My husband doesn't want to do something I want to do." The co-worker thinking it was a joke said what's that? She yelled out "ANAL SEX!" The co-worker was LOL but noticed the lady was crying! UH, ma'am, I'm not in to that let me get some one who will do. He didn't know what else to do. So he came running for me!
He told me what happened so we went upstairs and peeked around the corner. It was a lady who her husband was bring in $250,000 to the hotel at the time. So I told the co-worker the what happens in the hotel stays in the hotel thing. And went in to the hotel managers office telling him the issue he just threw papers in the air waving his hands in the air telling me to just take care of it. A separate issue was going on at the time so.
I clocked out changed my shirt then went up to the bar she was at and waited till she saw me I waved my pinky at her. She put down her drink and came at me. She grabbed my arm and escorted me to her car. Not knowing her intent I said ma'am I'm not really into that in a female grunt she said "BS where going to my car." Driving down the road I was trying to think of any motel she might be taking me, I have to get turned on. Luckily she had previously dumped a whole bottle of Chanel #5 perfume in her Mercedes to keep her husband from driving it. So I was breathing in the fumes trying to get turned on. This was all happing too fast!
But luckily she just took me for dinner, she told me to be open with her. We talked and after she payed the bill she then crossed her arms looking at me. "Oh, what happens in the hotel stays in the hotel for the dignity of the individuals involved and the hotel, my paycheck!" Thanks for your honesty she said putting her wallet back in her purse. At the time I thought is this it? I need to say more. I blurted out "Can I see you again?" She jerked her head looked at me, her pupils dilated then fluttered as the came back to normal. High blood pressure? I said out loud "God that's Erotic." Everyone in the restaurant heard me they where looking around to see who said that, she was flabbergasted like a bouncy ball was in her head. She got it together and said lets go. We took off and I had to run with her to the car. She took me back to the hotel. Driving she was staring at me with a emotion like "???!!!???!!!" I told her "The road!" We got back safely and just sat in her car till she said "Can I see you again, uh I will think about it" smiling at me.
A week latter at work she came down to see me I saw her and I looked at her like a love sick dog. She read me! She took me out again for coffee. We talked then she took me back to the hotel where she saw my Nissan 240sx I had at the time. She asked me to take her for a drive. Driving around she told me to do it. Do it? Oh I floored it popping the clutch and drifted around the corner with her hanging to the door handle and the oh shit handle as it's called as she looked at the smoke behind her. Smiles and took her back to her car. She kissed me a few I kissed her back she moaned fluttered then went back to her car eye contact the whole time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvN9NbdPNvA
That was the last time I saw her till she was at a Banquet I was working at. I saw her so I looked adoringly at her, she turned watching me from the side of her eyes. Blushing she flung her hand at me telling me to go! So I took off. I came back latter with coffee, sneaking up behind her I gave her some coffee. She looked at the coffee cup then looked up at me to say thanks for the coffee. She saw it was me she jerked and instantly her husband pointed at me LOL "Cliche it's the waiter!" He wasn't mad I retreated holding the coffee pot walking backward to the door. Later he found me and told me his wife told him all about it and thanks for covering up the issue. "You can hook up with my wife if she wants to!" I never felt so much stress like that before heat was coming out of my shirt. He then walked over to his wife, oh no! He whispered in her ear then her jaw dropped, he turned her head to show me her face. All emotions all at once.
She never did but I understand it would be torrid that we would go to jail over it. I get it. But these days a torrid love affair is a good thing as society is not doing well. This is a time to jump into the fire!
*Ma'am in the 90's is a sign of respect, a woman of stature, power. It represents not her age!
What is going on these days are normal there are rebounds after a plague. Inflation lost jobs, job growth and etc. It's like the laws of nature a correction, in time! It will be ok just go with the changes!
*****"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end." - Seneca.
Despite the chaos that was the year 2020, we can look forward to a period of order again. Every system tends from an ordered state to a disordered state and back again. The year we experienced, was certainly a period of chaos that will precede a period of order. Many of our grandparents lived during or in the aftermath of World Wars. Some of our parents lived through the aftermath of those periods too. Throughout their lives, they experienced highs and lows, peaks and troughs, chaos and order.
This current period of chaos is accentuated because we have enjoyed an anomalous period in history, one of relative stability of the post-war period. We grew accustomed to sustained order, despite the chaos we experienced from the 2008/2009 financial downturn.
When we are experiencing chaos, it can be all encompassing, we can forget that there is order ahead. Our guest on Innovation Show 253 is John Rogers, John reminds us that the devastation of the “Black Death” was the chaos that preceded the Renaissance.
The Black Death Preceded the Renaissance
Collaboration: An Accelerant of Order
In his 2014 book, Frans Johansson introduced what he called “The Medici Effect”.The effect is derived from the Medici Dynasty, an Italian banking family that came to power in the 14th century. The family used their considerable wealth to fund art, literature with the ultimate goal to accelerate cultural change. Johansson argued that innovation occurs when people from diverse industries, cultures, and disciplines collaborate and mix ideas from their various fields. This concept is what John Rogers calls a mixed table.
“If we truly want to advance society, intelligent, insightful people must be able to share their real thoughts without fear of backlash, and a mixed table, done well, can pro-vide that opportunity.” – John Rogers Episode 253 of The Innovation Show
Rogers has used this technique for decades as a way to innovate and seek solutions for wicked problems. Mixed tables involve the mixing of people from diverse disciplines such as creative fields like movie directors to army generals and business executives. The desired outcome is holistic thinking and thus complete solutions.
Chaos and order are bedfellows, they exist in a never ending cycle. When we understand this we can enjoy the order when it arises, while preparing for the chaos that will inevitably arrive. When we are in a period of chaos, we can manage it and take solace in the knowledge that order is on its way. Perhaps this period of chaos is akin to the crisis of the late Middle Ages. That crisis triggered a Renaissance. Perhaps we can trigger another Renaissance. https://theinnovationshow.io/plagues-precede-rebirths-chaos-precedes-order-and-chaos-again
Not being able to hire people from the wages being too low or hiring from a bad labor pool of people willing for the low pay for a reason does need to change. You get what you pay for. The wages are too low in a future of most workers not going to be able to afford a EV yet alone to afford to charge it. All around the wages are too low! Like the last times the wages have gone up many people spend more money making more sales to everyone! We are all still here unless we all died and got reincarnated the last times the wages went up! More pay needs to get into the hands of the workers or no future!
****Walmart, America’s largest private employer, said Tuesday that it will raise its minimum wage from $12 to $14 an hour as it tries to retain store and warehouse workers in a tight labor market for lower-wage industries.
Walmart has 1.7 million workers in the United States, 94% of whom are hourly employees, according to its latest annual securities filing. The company hired hundreds of thousands of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic to meet strong consumer demand for groceries and other goods.
In many areas of the country, particularly southern states that have not adopted higher wage laws, Walmart’s starting wage often serves as the local minimum wage. The company’s move is likely to have a ripple effect across the service industry.
Walmart for decades been a target of criticism from labor groups for low pay, but it has been raising wages in recent years. Its latest move will close the gap with Amazon (AMZN), Target (TGT), Costco (COST), and other rivals. Amazon (AMZN) and Target (TGT) have a $15 minimum wage, while Costco (COST) starts at $17 an hour.
Walmart’s wage hike reflects pressure on chains to raise pay in a battle for labor. Walmart is trying to keep pace with rivals as well as cities and states that have been raising their minimum wages. The federal minimum wage has been $7.25 an hour since 2009. Washington State has the highest minimum wage in the country at $15.74.
While dozens of companies, including Walmart, have laid off corporate staff in recent months, demand for service industry workers remains strong. Walmart currently has nearly 30,000 store jobs listed on its hiring website.
The number of job openings stood at 10.5 million in November, according to the latest Labor Department reading, very high by historical standards and far more than the 6 million unemployed people looking for a job that month. There were more than 1 million job openings in the retail sector.
“The labor market remains competitive, particularly at this level. Hourly workers are still hard to find, and companies are continuing to compete for them by raising wages,” Andy Challenger, the senior vice president at outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, said in an email.
Walmart US chief John Furner said Tuesday in a memo that the company’s wage hike will “ensure we have attractive pay in the markets we operate.”
